I've been using 1 Igraine in my every RP deck since she came out.

I heard that they confirmed there will only be 2 copies of the g-guard in the set, is that actually true?

So out of curiosity what are things I should be looking to pick up before they become difficult to find in preparation of this? I recently picked up my friend's MLB/Alfred deck and it's missing a few things I think will be needed like G2 Liew (although I did find a set of Bedeveres while tin diving earlier). I've already got 2 Holy Squire Dragon and Soul Saver to work with for the G-Zone and I'm assuming some number of Aerial Altmile are going to be needed but after that I'm lost.

Blaster-Friend, Barcgal Blaster Blade (unless he gets a reprint in this LD) Floral Paladin, Flogal off the top of my head, in addition to definitely some Aerial Altmile, you didn't really much need the RSS as the LD comes with 2 (unless bushiroad really messes up the En version but I think we'd have riots if they did that)

Well, it makes us have to buy 2 LDs if the G-Guard is something we want to run more than 2 of but I doubt we'd need to (I wont, as my friend plans to buy one and give me all the shiny cards from his, for the non-shiny cards in mine so I might be able to get him to trade me the G-Guards for some cards I have he may want, or cash, which ever he prefers)

I hope the new g guard is really good, and specific to our deck brave has enough.

The G-FC have a high chance of being Generic.

So no Brave to worry, but don't get your hope too much.

technically laserguard was generic, but it's harder for blasters to use since they didn't have as much call ability as other royal decks.
Blasters need an uluru to be honest since they're going to stop relying so heavily on thing saver, and therefore won't have as much deck replenishment.

Never felt any difficulties in having G2 on field for Laserguard, even in Blaster.

Resource Management and timed calling just like usual.

you make that sound simple, and maybe it is on paper, but in practice having a g guard that protects, or calls g2s would be so much more practical.

Except people can just attack your G2, forcing you to expend cards in hand, to protect it, so your G-Guard can function properly.

Of course it will. I'd want a superior caller G-guard too. And people will cry for "WAH WAH WAH RP ALWAYS GOT THE GOOD STUFF WHY" more than ever.

Also we have a G-guard that protect G2, it's called Dyzmel.

There's a thing called backrow call. Less attack for more defense next turn.

+calling 2 G2s isn't exactly hard.

And if they attack my G2 that just means less attack to my VG.

Personally I never felt any problem maintaining G2 on field during any course of the game, except against LJ sometimes :/

Think of it this way: You use CB to superior call those RGs, that CB will eventually run out or you use up your hand, either by calling them from hand or the Brave skills which make you discard for the calls, people will attack them to deny you CB and/or eat into your hand.

Attacking RGs is such a viable strategy, that them not attacking your VG can actually be detrimental, to you. You've likely been playing against people who don't do that, because they feel it's scummy (it kinda is, I've won games solely because I do this, it puts the opponent so far behind, they legitimately can't counter attack properly) The only thing this doesn't work on, is Granblue or clans that do not keep front row RGs.

On the contrary, I never felt any difficulties keeping up even when they keep attacking my RGs, thus denying my CB. Then again, I used to play when the cost of supcall was CB 2/3 >_>

So did I. You can pretty much ask any of my opponents I play irl, they wont put a RG down before stride now, because I will attack them and limit their stride plays, by limiting both their hand, field and usable CB. I've used my VG to attack their RG. Funny thing is, they try that on me but I only play cards I am willing to lose.

Regardless of whether the others can be used by blasters or not royals don't have a g guard with a skill that does something other than gain power, and it's about time we get one.
