Side Note: All Breedings can be done to the male and female Nidorans. The only cases in witch this is not true is if in the "result" it says "Nidoran (M)" instead of "Nidoran". Also a Nidoran (M) can only be acheived wither through Ditto and Nidoran (M) and family or a Nidoran (F) and Family with a male. Egg Moves can only be acheived for Nidoran (M) by using the latter method. Therefore breeding an egg move for Nidoran (M) can be slightly more tedious than others.

Does where you hatch an egg affect the nature of the pokemon hatched?

I've been hatchings over 70 Larvitars, trying to find an adamant one, and not one is adamant. Also, does me breeding a Pupitar and a Ditto affect the ratio of natures?

Where you hatch an egg does not effect the nature of the Pokemon hatched. The only way parents have an effect on nature of a hatched Pokemon is if you give the female (or Ditto if you are using a male Pupitar) an Everstone. If you are using an Everstone then you have a 50% chance of passing down the mothers nature to the new Pokemon.

Regarding everstone---when the game came out we tested the passing of nature (and ability) by doing some breeding experiments. Near, Wildace, Rakath, and I plus some others I think----

Anyway, we concluded that the 50% Nature passing seemed most reliable ONLY when both pokemon were ingame (same Trainer ID) but in any other circumstance, test results showed the odds were random.
I think all of the actual testing was done on the version #I of this thread if you want to find it and look at it in the old pages.
I forget what the results were for passing ability but think they were totally random.

This scenerio has happened quite a few times, and I'm wondering if anyone else has run across this problem. Questions to follow ...

All of the Poke's info is entered first, then I put my freshly hatched Poke's stats @ lv 1 into the first row. I level it up to 15 in the daycare (so no EVs) and take it out. I rare candy it up to next 'suggested level' and enter stats. Always triple checking them. Everything is going merrily along, when ... around the 7th or 8th row of entries ... I suddenly get error messages in every stat, all because ONE stat was 4 or 5 points higher than THEY thought it should've been.

Does this happen to anyone else who is POSITIVE they've entered everything correctly?

Also, does evolution during this process matter (as I know it effects the Pokes base stats)? Should one press 'B' to prevent evolution in this case?
