Local Report With Dark World

So this is my first tournament report, and I'm to lazy to post a list, so lets get to the games. It was a 4 round tournament, cut to top 4.


Round 1.
Dark World vs. Wind-up
he wins die roll
Game 1: Get looped leaving me with a beige in hand with snoww, grapha, tour guide, and another grapha in grave. He ends on a zenmaines w/no backrow. Topdeck Gates (like a boss). Play it, banish snow discard beige draw another beige. Bounce beige for grapha, normal summon it, and bounce for the second grapha. Knock both materials off of zenmaines, and beat him down with the graphas.

Game 2: Get looped again, but this time only 1 grapha in grave. He has acid golem with 2 set. I heavy, he judgements. I summon broww, he warnings. I have to end. he goes hunter shark into a leviathan dragon and smashes for 5500. I draw broww, bring back grapha, and run over his leviathan dragon. He summons his 3rd wind-up hunter and attacks, leaving me with 600. I topdeck compulse, set it, and during his standby, compulse the acid golem, causing it to deal 2000 damage to him. GG

So yeah, he was pretty salty about that but oh well.

Round 2.
Dark World vs. Chaos Dragons

Game 1. Open crap and he mills DAD. Summons Phantom of Chaos and pops my entire field.

Game 2. See game 1, except replace DAD with BLS.

Round 3.
Dark World vs. Hero Deck

Game 1. I open 4 discard outlets 2 reckless. Am thinking I'll wrap this up quick. Reckless into.... Dark Hole Torrential double dragged down.. Get Killed....

Game 2. I don't remember much of this one, except that he had an absolute zero out and mask changed it into an acid. Still pull it off though, due too a timely Card Destruction.

Game 3. He sets a monster and 5 facedowns. I open Card Destruction, 2 grapha, and a beige. GG.


Very cool guy, laughed about game 3.

Round 4.
Dark World vs. Rabbit

Great, my least favorite deck....

Game 1. I go first. Foolish a grapha, dealings a beige, bounce it for grapha, play gates, set torrential and warning. He summons tourguide I Warning. He sets 2. I play another dealings, discarding grapha, summon beige, bounce it, attack for 6000. He draws, looks at the card, and scoops.


Game 2. He opens rabbit Laggia. I have nothing until I topdeck Card Destruction with 3 Dark world in hand. Sadly, his last play was a second Rabbit Laggia.

Game 3. I don't remember how this started, but I ended up skill draining when he had laggia out. He let it go and I went TGU into Acid Golem and Golem and grapha beat him down.

So, I make top 4 and we decide to split. Got 3 turbo packs, pulled a super Red Gadget that I traded for some stuff.

And you went TGU into Acid Golem... with Skill Drain up?

Guessing Acid Golem had no materials, so right after the opponent took the damage from his effect, the OP compulsed.

honestly, i forgot acid golem stopped special summoning. Fail.... And I mistyped the TGU acid golem thing. He negated drain, and I played TGU. I don't understand why though...
