If you consider 70 miles to be close, then yeah :P
It's because I'll be working for IBM, that's why I'm doing all of my deals within the next 1 and a half weeks :P

In his defence, you could always just buy 'em from eBay instead, where their prices will be nearer his value (still a tiny bit over for me still, mind. I'd value 'em at £32).
It's all well and good saying their value is 'X', but if they're only on sale for 'X+Y' then that's all you can get them for (as long as the prices are consistent in most places - eg using my argument to say that a Solemn Wishes is worth £100 because there's only one in eBay at one moment for that price).
tl;dr you've gotta pay what they're up for.

Obviously you didn't read as all the ones that say 'lower' in my post above are cheaper on ebay right now I can BIN.
So obviously he's off with his price if
a) I can buy them cheaper on ebay right now
b) have been selling cheaper on ebay as proven by completed
c) after all those being sold then factor in the charges people have for selling on ebay.
Idm happy trading Archer and good luck getting £35

I read all of your links, and I agreed in my first post I thought his value was a bit high so agreeing with point a), but my comment was about disproving your point b), which you seem to have ignored. It'd be like citing completed listings of Maxx "C" before the price shot up - values change, and in this case, have increased. And point c) only really stands on this site - values are determined by people talking with cash, not cards. If it costs me so much to sell it at £X, it's still worth £X, even though there was a cost incurred. If we're being like that, we could just as well make the postage the 'value' of the card and the bidding price 1p to avoid said charges for selling (so I'm told).

Ok so I'll go with your point and go list my stuff now on ebay and get others to do it aswell for £100 a pop and thats what I should be asking for right? We all know that's not the price but because they're on ebay that's what I should be asking for? That's what you're trying to say right? The price they're up for is £100 and that's what I need to value them at.
If anything the price of Bounzer is decreasing now, it's had it's spike and now is starting to lower.
I actually add cost and postage together when getting my values, and yes you could go 1p and £30 p&p and it'll still be valued at £30. Then enjoy getting banned from ebay for fee dodging, just ask Ruffy
Like I said I'll leave him be, I brought him his wants and he wanted to overvalue his end and keep mine normal, so I'll leave him be and wish him happy trading.

Now i do agree i was overvaluing slightly but,
My point is..
I can get £35's worth of stuff for it.
Also just because it's selling for £X doesn't mean it's worth that,
Many people add more if it's trade value...
Many big trader's do that...
Everyones trade value is higher then there sell value,
but obviously this isn't the case with you.

I said in my first comment 'in most places' - so your point doesn't hold true as there would be other sites listing it nearer its true value (which of course is subjective as for its raw material value it's only a few pence). Likewise, if you did so, you'd be forgetting your basic economics. The price has to justify demand, and even if every site sold it for that, it wouldn't sell so would eventually come down to the equilibrium between price and demand.
As to your point here 'Like I said I'll leave him be, I brought him his wants and he wanted to overvalue his end and keep mine normal, so I'll leave him be and wish him happy trading' - you also wanted to undervalue his Bounzer imo, hence sparking this. But that's his decision, so it's cool.

Thank you. You agree you was overvaluing (is this because of all the links I posted up)
The second part of post if wrong though. Yes sale value and trde value are 2 different things. Like I said to Jameo
If x card is £30 on ebay and I was selling it I would be asking for £27(ish) cash and £30 trade value. If I was to sell on ebay I'd lose a little over £3 in fees so selling it in cash here would be more beneficial for both parties. I get more than I would selling on ebay and you get it cheaper than buying on ebay.
It doesn't work how you're thinking that if the card is worth £30 you can ask for £30 cash and £35 trade value as people rarely buy for same price as they could get on ebay (people without access to ebay/paypal are the inconsistency here)
Anyway like I said I'll leave you be and happy trading

I actually wasn't undervaluing his Bounzer at all. I valued £25-30 (which is in between the lowest and highest last 2 have sold on ebay for in last week) and everyone will usually go higher end and same my end I put the lowest and highest I could realistically let it go for.
