Yesterday's tournament was pretty good.
51 people showed up, a few from Melbourne and a few from down South.
We ran 6 rounds and then the best of the best kicked @$$ in Top 8.
Top 2 split because it was too late and we were closing.
They walked away with $60 in Store Credit each.
Without further adieu...

I know today there wer talks on having a second yugioh day on mondays but, is there any other games local? Between kids and work it's hard for me to consistently show up. Any groups of people get together outside of PPF? Sucks cuz I had to drop today going into 3rd round.

People get together almost every day to play. We also host our own tournaments.

37 players entered, Top 4 didn't split the pot.

2nd: Izzy G. (Infirmaries) with $30 S.C.
3rd: Brandon V. (Inzektors) with $15 S.C.
4th: Will F. (Dark Magician) with $15 S.C.
5th: Logan S. (The Six Ronin) with $10 S.C.
6th: Tim L. (Dragons) with $10 S.C.
7th: Johnny T. (Winzektors) with $10 S.C.
8th: Cody A. (Dr. Cyberstein OTK) with $10 S.C.

Tomorrow we'll have a Tournament at the shop.
Sign-ups @ 5pm, Game starts @ 6pm.
$5 entry, double elimination, Cosmo Blazer packs will be the Prize Support.

Also on February 23rd is "The Gentlemen and the Lady" Tournament.
Dress like a proper gentleman and get entered in a drawing for Prizes.

How'd monday go?

16 players showed up, we did 3 rounds of double elimination.
Marcus and Vinny topped the event.
They walked away with 5 COSMO BLAZER packs each.
I was impressed that that many people showed up.
Hopefully we'll keep this ball rolling on Mondays.
And before anyone asks. I would have done a 4th round,
but every round ran way over in time.
Plus I don't get paid past 9pm.

Additional Comment:

G'evening, children of the night.
34 players showed up for the Event.
That was about 15 more then I was expecting.
Next Saturday, we're gonna be dead.
Yahir will show up and win the whole thing next Saturday and then
proclaim his dominance of the game.
