Default My Regional Winning Plant Deck with slight alterations

Gigaplant x3
Snipe Hunter x1
Lord Poison x1
Blazewing Butterfly x1
UFO Turtle x3
Sangan x1
Lonefire Blossom x3
Spirit Reaper x1

Card of Safe Return x3
Swing of Memories x3
Symbol of Heritage x3
Lightning Vortex x3
Monster Reborn x1
Premature Burial x1
Giant Trunade x1
Heavy Storm x1
Mystical Space Typhoon x1
Future Fusion x1
Brain Control x1

Mirror Force x1
Torrential Tribute x1
Trap Dustshoot x1
Ultimate Offering x1
Raigeki Break x3

This is the deck I used to top 4 Boxborough Regionals with slight changes. I took out the Smashing, Fissure and Nobleman Suite to put in 3x Lightnign Vortex. I sided them in almost every game anyway so i figured they would do better main decked.

The symbols are freaking amazing. They are what made me win my top 8 match. I will test the second Lord Poison but I personally think 1 is enough.

what about the ultimate offering I can see its uses in this deck but I think it is rather slow on paper.

On paper it appears slow I admit. But in reality it speeds up the deck to amazing levels. Imagine, your Swing of Memories now summons all 3 of your Gigaplants and a Lord Poison.

yeah I haven't played the deck so I wouldn't know how fast it is.
I was playing one of these decks at my last regional and the guy was running multiple lord poisons and he seemed to be doing well that day. (I beat him on the bubble)

I didn't like it. They learned soon enough to call 3 or 6 depending on the situation off of reasoning.

Spirit Reaper lets me attack them directly and discard a card. I like having that threat though if it isn't your style Marshmallon is fine.

Lord Poison seems best as a one of to me because I usually only use it as something for Lonefire to get after I have blown through all my Gigaplants.

monsters
gigaplant 3
lonefire blossom 3
blazewing butterfly 2
lord poison
morphing jar
prickle fairy 2
ufo turtle 2
sangan

spells
swing of memories 3
card of safe return 3
mystical space typhoon
heavy storm
giant trunade
future fusion
brain control
foolish burial
creature swap 2
premature burial
lightninig vortex
enemy controller
monster reborn

traps
mirror force

sakuretsu armor 2
solemn judgement 3

Additional Comment:

what decks did you play during the tourny?
any solutions to prevent or return gigaplant from removal?
for macro did you side in any dust tornadoes?

My suggetion would be to dump it and run mine but as for slight alterations. I think prickle Fairy is too defensive for this deck and Symbol of Heritage is what realy makes this deck work you really need to run it in 3's. Creature Swap didn't do very well in my playtesting as it only comboed with UFO turtle and I don't think Saku is a good idea when you could be running the 3rd Solemn and Raigeki.

I played 3 DAD decks and 2 Monarchs and 2 DDT and 2 Samurai. My only loss was 7th round to a DAD deck.

It isn't worth running extra cards to try and save your plants. I did side 3x Dust Tornado but I never actually sided them in.

That is a good question. I have been waiting for someone to ask that. As you may know most builds of Plants run Dust Tornado. However, I found them to be terrible topdecks not worth running. I found Raigeki Break to be infinitely more efficient. Even if my Gigaplants did die to a Mirror Force I would merely Symbol of Heritage them out again for another shot. Also, there are very few pieces of removal this format so I wasn't really scared about say Bottomless because nobody runs it anymore. I did however side deck them but I never actually sided them in. They are quite overrated.

NOC did bad for me at the regionals and was a horrible topdeck. I cannot take out Dustshoot because it is too amazing but I might test out PWWB.
