October Contest
Being the month of October, and being that Pirates is a very spooky game to begin with, I've decided to do a create-a-card contest with a theme: HALLOWEEN of course.
Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to create a NEW game piece (and by new I mean NEW, not something that I can find somewhere else already) with a Halloween theme.
You can create a ship, character, monster, unique treasure, or event. I will allow ONE entry per piece type (so you can enter one ship, one character, one monster, etc.) You do not have to include artwork in your entries, but you may if you want.
You have TWO WEEKS to enter starting from today and going through Midnight PST on October 12, 2007. I will choose up to 10 of the best entries and post them in a poll. Your votes will determine the winner, which will be announced on October 31, 2007.
THE PRIZE:
Grand Prize:
The SINGLE, ONE OF ONE, bound copy of "WildWill's Collector's Guide to WizKids' Pirate of the Spanish Main" autographed by me personally and shipped to you free of charge.
First Prize:
PP392 1 El Fantasma BUST LE (provided I can actually find the damn thing)
Second Prize:
One Rare Ship from WK Pirates (choices will be offered to the winner) - You Supply a SASE
Third Prize:
One Rare Crew from WK Pirates (choices will be offered to the winner) - You Supply a SASE
HOW TO ENTER:
EMAIL your contest entries to my public email address WMNOE@YAHOO.COM with the subject line "HALLOWEEN CONTEST ENTRY". ANY emails without that subject will automatically be disqualified. ONE Email per user. Should you wish to enter more than one entry, all entries must be on the same Email.
YOU MUST Include the following information:
First and Last Name
Mailing Address
Pojo user name
Legalese: Contest entrants agree to abide by all contest rules and regulations and to the final judgement of the contest sponsor (ME). All entries become the property of the sponsoring entity, entrants retain no legal rights to entries. Value of the prizes awarded is subjective and subject to change. I am not responsible for lost, late or misdirected on-line entries or transactions, for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry information whether caused by a contestant, equipment, or technical malfunction or for any human error, technical error or malfunctions *(meaning if your entry goes in my spam filter, it ain't my fault). Sponsor reserves the right to award substitute prizes for first, second and third place if necessary.

OK so I haven't gotten ANY entries yet, and this contest has been going for a couple days now.
If I don't get anything by Friday, I'm just going to turn it into a random drawing.

So what happened to the contest? I've seen no new announcements or posts. I thought submitted entries would be posted and votes taken, but so far I've seen nothing new concerning this.

I kind of forgot and got really busy. I didn't get a whole lot of entries, but I did get some. At some point I'll move forward with the whole voting thing, but I don't have a lot of time right now.

I think Wild Will's departure from Pojo-mod world has rendered it moot. Much like the new errata on double-pins has rendered my procurement of the USS Emerald somewhat moot.
