Dragonic overlord:
[ACT](VC/RC):[Counter Blast (3)] Until end of turn, this unit gets [Power]+5000, gets "[AUTO](VC/RC):When this unit's attack hits an opponent's rear-guard, [Stand] this unit", and loses "Twin Drive!!".

You don't lose twin drive when using dauntless dragon skill. From what im reading only when your attack hits the rear guard and standing from that hit then will you lose twin drive.

And I could just link you to the anime right now, but the complicated answer is this. Have you ever noticed the quotation marks over a very specific part of Dragonic Overlord's skill? Notice something else, this is a completely separate clause from 'and loses "Twin-Drive!!"'. No matter how you view it once you notice this, losing Twin-Drive!! and hitting a Rear-Guard are completely separate parts of the skill, and have no direct effect on each other. So what does this mean? It means until the end of the turn, Dragonic Overlord actually gains 2 separate parts to this skill. First, he will restand upon hitting a Rear-Guard. Second, he will lose Twin-Drive!! until the end of the turn.

And uhh, just saying, the Wiki is pretty stupid but at least they get the rulings right.

Realistically speaking, Bad End Dragger gives you 21/21/31+/21+/21+, as you can't play a back row or rely on Reckless Express on Break Ride. If the opponent knows how to survive it, ie, let the first two through and use any Triggers to lower the shielding needed, it's fairly easy to survive.

Oh, and the deck is completely useless without Dragger, as Emperor is pretty much useless without Juggernaut.

You could, while extremely risky, be a total troll and use Dauntless with Aleph.
Good luck to your opponent if they can't take all that damage.

I was playing with my Raqiel.dek against some Dauntless and Descendants and really, i didn't think they are that scary, overall i think the Ride Breakers made the game MORE fun, as it makes damage management a important skill.

It's nothing more than hype, and these new decks are on the same level as previous decks, actually i think DOTE is way more scary than these new decks, and we survived that. Ride breakers aren't ultra-broken cards that'll make old decks useless, that's so true that Remiel by instance is not even good enough to be actually viable in current Angel Feather builds.

Edit: Oh, and using Dragonic Overlord with Dauntless is simply TERRIBLE.

Dauntless + Goku could be funny.

Chance to retire every rear guard booster + puts to use all those grade 3s that would othewise be stuck in one's hand.

I kinda like it.

Yeah dauntless + dote would be so awesome as long as restriction doesn't hit. Otherwise it'll be 4 dauntless,2 dote, 2 overlord?
If no restriction would you run 4 dauntless 4 dote disregarding the 13k crossride?

Yes, that would be the plan.

But since the restrictions do exist, you're better off with 4 Dauntless 4 Overlord to crank up that late game pressure. It's not worth losing Conroe just to play 2 DOTE for the off chance of actually getting to persona.

But it doesn't matter if you ride DOTE or DO, so why not make your opponent overguard both attacks instead of just one?

It doesn't matter what you ride at all. The center lane is just going to be vanilla attacks, so even another Dauntless will do. As for the rear, you should be firing off Eternal Flame at the same time, and DOTE obviously doesn't offer that.

That is true. I will try both as soon as we have the restriction and Dauntless. Until then DO and DOTE and then Dauntless and DOTE.

Red Pulse Dracokid as a starter and 1 doom bringer gryphon in the deck.

Dauntless-Eclipse is a gimmick deck. Yeah, it'll probably work when it goes off in that order, but you have to think about the scenarios where you have to ride Eclipse up front. Let me tell you, not a single one of those games is going to be won.

If we don't get any restrictions, conroe, 4 Dauntless and 4 End?
If we do get the restrictions, conroe, 4 dauntless, 4 overlord?
In the unrestricted build I'd simply replace the regular overlords with 4 dauntlesses. My problem is that I'd be too scared to call any of my G3s to rear guard. With overlord, unless I have a G2 vanguard, I plop him down on the RG without any remorse. And I feel like one Promise Aermo would be alright because of kimnara, gatling claw and all the break time soul charging.
