This deck is awesome because it uses Van'Dalgyon effectively, I'd imagine.

Yeah, I normally don't like going trap heavy but I lieks to troll. My favorite thing is using Seven Tools of the Bandit on Solemn Judgment.

Skill drain negate "You can Normal Summon or Set this card without Tributing, but its original ATK will become 1900." ? I am thinking no, but I could be wrong.

The XYZ Material still gets detached as the cost but the effect still gets activated and negated.

There is no card in the entire game that will stop a cost from happening, it's impossible. The closest thing is Spell Economics but that doesn't even stop the cost, it just bypasses it.

I found it weird that Chainsaw Insect's effect still resolves under Skill Drain.
