People asked for death, but I mean if Byakuya died so easily from not only his own fear but his own bankai ; then we finally get a good show I am actually starting to like As Nodt more now that we finally see what he/she can do. But seriously if Byakuya dies this easily and has made it this far in the series then I can't wait to see these Quincies destroy Aizen.

Byakuya isn't dead. Everyone knows that. If Hinamori can get shattered into a thousand pieces and not die, a silly slash isn't killing Byakuya.

But hasn't the same silly slash been able to kill others?

Who died? Like, permanently died? Stark? I think he's pretty much the only one to die from a generic slash.

Byakuya got hit by his own move didn't he? The same move that killed the 7th espada.

Byakuya has plotkai protection though. Not as much as Hitsugaya and Ichigo,but still enough to survive an attack.

Heck, even Don Kanonji has enough plotkai protection to survive Aizen, and he's pretty much an irrelevant character.

I guess but seeing as though Kubo said this was the last arc maybe he has got rid of plotkai.. I mean what else is there for Bya? We know his past and the reason is the way he is, so unless he plays a major part in the near future (which can be done by almost anyone else) he can be written off imo

Additional Comment:

I would like to take back what I previously stated about him not being able to further the story. He has changed from the beginning and might be abe to help out the next generation of Shinigamis.

Kubo's really making up, imo, for the shortcomings of the past arcs. Wow, it's actually really suspenseful for a change.

Still not really impressed, it seems he's just tossing fights together. Sure at least something is happening now, but its just random fighting.


I still don't think Byakuya is dead.
