Better yet he/she should exceed two six sams, take out the xyz sam, pretend to summon it, and then rip the s*** out of the card then proceed to summon something actually useful.

Shadow actually could combo with Shien's Dojo and Gateway of the Six, as it is a six samurai. I will be testing it.

Obviously, the point is, Konami didn't really design the card well...its effect is near useless (Kageki is literally the only card that makes it's effect worthwhile). I will reiterate the point that it would be just as useful as a vanilla, maybe even better as it wouldn't be able to be effected by Fiendish Chain. Imagine how terrible this card would be if it didn't have "Six Samurai" in it's name....?

You guys don't see the other combo in the situation where you have Enishi and Shadow Shien on field at the same time, he fufills the cost for Enishi's effect while creating a psuedo-lock on your opponent. Also you can attach Spirit to it and Normal Summon Kagemushas without worrying about your opponent smashing it with something more than 400 ATK but less than 2000 ATK, which is always good.

Shadow Shien is definitely amazing and my team and I trying to figure out whether bumping Kageki to 2 is worth the boost, we will see how the meta unfolds as Samurai sheep descend into the community.

Well, if the thing made a Sam have 3k Atk, all the morons *****ing about Sams would cry. Only GKs and later on Tengu.dek made me rage back in Stormless.

I kinda hate Sams now. Not to the level some people do, but meh...they're really annoying now that I'm not running Compulsory to troll them by bouncing Kagemusha.

Samurais are basically a less busted version of Dino Rabbit, and anything less broken than Dino Rabbit is generally a good thing.

I'm assuming that Six Sam player will be you. 'Cause you know, it's not everyday a person can be able to dictate the actions of another person without even knowing who they are.

At this point with Konami doing whatever they want, I am not discounting this card. Maybe the next banlist could make it viable, maybe it can't.

i can see him being useful for counters... now if his effect was not till the end phase -_- i can deal with it only being 2000, especially if i can do it to some of the regular six, everyone is looking for attack to be over 3000, i mean u dont need it if u play your cards right, i would have him rather special summon a lvl 3 six sam or something with his effect, cose attack power isnt what the sams are about, its there effects and stacking 2 sams is bad enough when shadow doesn't have an effect to protect himself now that i only have one monster from stacking for him

i was hoping for ether ss a six sam or make six sams immune to spell/trap cards till the end phase for an effect, i was doing a duel not nowing my friend had 2 Dimensional Prison and a Mirror Force set, yah i should put my Heavy Storm in there but still

That's the problem. The deck is drop Shi En and c-block everything.


Six Sams will forever be hated even if Gateway was banned due to dropping a large c-block with other fists.

Six samurais generally run a low monster count and get the majority of their six sams through other means (smoke signal, ROTA, gateway, six sam united etc) to the point where you will almost never get it's effect off.

Swiftstrike Armor is garbage, but then again they added in that Secret Rare from Storm that sucks so....

Regardless, Shadow will be a nice addition to the collection, as it does have pretty bad ass art, but will probably serve little in actual playability. Konami logic: If a card has cool art, it must suck....if it has terribad art (Inzektors, Rescue Rabbit, etc..) make it broken to annoy players. Ancient Dragon is the epitome of that meme.

I remember when it was released, and people hyped the card to the moon....I remember 30 DOLLAR pre-order prices for that piece of garbage. One of the worst archetype specific TCG exclusives I have ever seen. Makes Gladiator Taming and Vampire Dragon look good lol...

Seriously? And we didn't even have XYZ monsters then, making those who bought that card for that price even more ******ed. I also seem to remember Chivalry being overhyped and having a pretty hefty pricetag upon release (10-15)...And let us not forget the 100+ dollar Steelswarm Roach, 50 dollar Tour Bus from the Underworld, and 100+ dollar Card Car D.....lolz!
