I can't help but think that a BETTER plan would have been to try and defeat the quincies without deliberately activating their now-vulnerable bankais FIRST. The shikai form works perfectly well from what we've seen, and given that Byakuya has his kido and stuff, Soi Fon is actually considerably LESS dangerous in Bankai form, Komamura's is a complete liability in this situation, and Toshiro's performance doesn't seem to be affected in the slightest by how all-out he's going, I don't see what they hoped to accomplish with this gambit.

...now that they stole the Bankai those Quincies are at an even greater advantage.

Oh, c'mon. Soi Fon does her death in two stings thing. If they have spirit cloaks, stab one in the eye twice and you're good. Her bankai is arguably less useful than Komamura's and she hates using it with a vengeance, but she busts it out first anyway.

probably.

outside of byakuya, i don't really see the characters as being the most main character. this is the last arc. so everyone shows up.

the plot could be:
everyone dies.
kid at beginning does something overpowered.
ichigo stops everyone.

good and evil are tipped. ichigo sacrifices himself so that balance is restored.

Another awesome chapter. Looks like Kubo's going to do his best on this one. Gee, I'm cringing about how many Captains might die. Seriously, Shunsei's been shot in the eye already and Kira's dead.. I hope Kenpachi and Mayuri get dealt with.

Pretty hilarious that in the last chapter we have Captains planning to release bankais in order to learn something only to fail miserably.In the next chapter we have the same Captains realising their mistake and desperately trying to warn the rest to not fall in the same trap.(not that it matters since Renji was going to use his despite what he has just witnessed)

This chapter was just bad. Nothing happened that was chapter worthy. We already knew they couldn't get his bankai andthe way they killed Kirge was piss.

Basically an "Ichigo saves the day" chapter.

^ You can't even say that... it's more like hey here comes Ichigo and you already know he shows up the tide of the battle shifts in favor of the good guys, then his arc rival appears beats him down badly, but he somehow escapes. In the meantime some other hero does something but falls just short of winning, but Ichigo comes back with a cool intro and somehow, even though wasn't macth last time but is now 10x stronger than his opponent

Well first of all you guys seem to be missing a certain detail.

Didn't anyone find Urahara's behavior strange this chapter? First one of the scientists comments on how "unpredictable" he is, and then out of the blue he kills Kirge. If Ichigo was winning, why interfere?

Decent chapter.

Though the only thing that matters to me is If the whole ichigo not being bankai sealable is due to his Plot armor or if hollowification is in play.

If so, the 3 vaizard captains better be able to shine for once.

Because the fight would have taken too long andf more damage would have been done to SS

Just realized Tite did the samething he always does. Ichigo at first gets overpowered by the base state of his opponent, opponent gets even stronger but yet Ichigo's bankai somehow is stronger than that
