Ah. Usually almost everywhere has a reasonable league nearby [depending really on where you are. I live in the smallest town possible and have a league here] You can find any nearby from the league finder on the official Pokemon website.

I went and did a search on Pokemon's website and the nearest thing was like 30 minutes away which sucks because I can't drive. So basically I need to find players first, make friends, and hope for some parents who could drive us.

Ah, ouch. Ironically, I found my first actual player in a teacher I had at several points in my life and didn't realize that he actually ran the league, so you might find players in the most unexpected of places.

I've found a lot of the people that play are kids and their parents, [or at least they're what makes up my league xD] and the guy that runs mine has had a Worlds top cut with rogue decks, so.
[I tend to put too much emphasis on that, as he's an excellent player, and his decks are usually out of the blue but very interesting and something I don't really think of, while I play Trainer lock...]
But yeah, the amount of players really is interesting. And do you know how the blocks are determined yet and which block you're in? That plays a major part in what decks you play against [though I've seen Seniors decks that troll pretty hard] but definitely, it makes a difference.

There are age divisions, essentially. Juniors, Seniors, and Masters. They work by year of birth, not just explicit age [which would work better imo]. Here they are, in actual order.
Junior Division (born in 1999 or later)
Senior Division (born in 1995, 1996, 1997, or 1998)
Masters Division (born in 1994 or earlier)

I have the feeling that those year dates are a bit off but I'm not sure. You can look it up on the Pokemon site.

No problem at all. Masters is a pretty strong division to start in.

So close, man. xD. Believe me, Seniors is a better starting division anyway. There, you can get away with a few more lols decks than you could in Masters.

If anyone has a code they don't want and is willing to sell to me, let me know.
I am most interested in the recent Theme Deck codes as well as Next Destinies booster codes.

I'm buying a Reshiram starter today and don't plan on using the code since I can just use the theme deck there anyways (and since I don't plan on buying packs I'd never be able to upgrade the deck anyways) so if you'd want it for free drop me a PM
