Chapter read.
...Huh. So they killed one of the coolest Shinigami in the opening five minutes of the war. That's not a good sign.
Also, does it bother anyone else that there always appears to be one AND PRECISELY ONE girl of rank in these evil organizations? It's not just a Bleach thing, but it bugs me.

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. I makes up for the way the Captains so unfairly trounced Aizen and his Espadas.

Not sure, but there may be a second female. The one Quincy with the long black hair, black scarf over the mouth, and spike protruding from it. May be a female; I don't know.

I'm mixed about this chapter. On one hand we find out whose going to be fighting who, but on the other hand it seems like Tite just threw in some random people into the Vandenreich

I think Kubo's just sort of hit the character design dartboard at this point. Let's see how it goes.
Oh, and Komamura...fighting a woman.
On one hand...Komamura never wins when it's important.
On the other hand...a woman. In Shonen.
It's like the Worf Event Horizon.

It doesn't seem that Kenpachi and Mayuri will be fighting in these current battles. They may soon, though.
I'm hoping that at least the Quincies kill Mayuri for his wickedness. He tortured and dissectedaround 20,000 Quincies when they were both alive and dead. Hopefully his barbarism will catch up to him.

Mayuri gets asploded, and turns to his dorky liquid state. Captain Quincy uses a vaccuum power of some sort to contain Mayuri in some sort of diamond-hard sphere.
God, I'd love that. The man's a punk.

Worst Character in Bleach or worst character besides Mayuri...
It seems ever since he made Kaname do that 180, Kubo hasn't been able to do another interesting black character since...Which is a shame because there weren't that many in anime to begin with...

The plan seemed solid enough: use your bankai with help around so you can see what happens, have protection, and be able to break the seal. Sometimes plans don't always work out lol.
