It is confirmed that the titans are out , and it's rumored that Mana Leak and Ponder are out as well.

Where exactly is this confirmed?
Also... I am very new to magic, so I must ask.... What usually happens with the dual lands? Like, take the lands released in the 2010-12 set... are there any predictions for them to stay again?

Nothing about the lands yet, I feel they will be reprinted, since they are essential to the game. About the titans, I read an article on wizards.com where one of developers said that they're not going to continue the titan cycle, I doubt I can find it now, but if you think about it, it makes sense that the titans are going out.

Actually, one of my friends said something that sounded kinda legit to me, where this set they would have no duals, only basics and effect lands, and then in M14 bring back the full cycle (MXX duals + ISD duals) and make that the standard.

Glad Titans are gone, they just were stagnating the 6 drop a lot, well mostly.
Why does Black have Exalted? Loving the Alara references though.

I presume that is to give all 5 colors the ability than claim that it's a W allied colored thing.
I do recall that the U creatures with exalted wasn't very popular. So I could see where they are willing to do part ways with some colors and stick it on other colors.

For the most part that is true.
Still it delving into B is weird.

Not too weird for me. They gave first strike to B creatures for a bit before going back and forth with the concept of who should have such abilities.
BWR Exalted would be interesting horse.

Exalted on black probably represents a selfish sort of standalone move for personal glory. On white, exalted represents a "Chosen One" stepping forward for the good of all--the one person who can handle a threat, so to speak.

O.o, They're now referencing planes of Alara now? I know Nicol runs Grixus but this is just getting odd.

So Magic: the Gathering is a sponsor at this year's Vans Warped Tour.
At the event, there is supposed to be a Magic truck that, coincidentally, displays Nicol Bolas and the Lorwyn Five.
Basically:
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
Ajani 3.0 [New art, if not new card.]
Chandra, the Firebrand
Garruk, Primal Hunter
Liliana 3.0 [New art, if not new card.]
Jace, Memory Adept
Pretty sweet for M13.

so this is what ive been thinking
i dont think they are going to reprint the shocks in return i think they will be in m13
however the land cycle in return will be the guild bounces and enemy colored lands that have the same function as the mirrodin duals

Well Mana Leak should be dropped. Some replacement ideas.
A modified Arcane Denial to Counter Spell then the controller of the countered spell draws 2 cards.
UU
Instant
Counter target spell. If that spell is countered this way, its controller may draw 2 cards.
A modify Liquify for 2 mana and doesn't exile the countered spell.
1U
Instant
Counter target spell with converted mana cost 3 or less.
A new X counter Spell, "Counter target spell with converted mana cost X. If that spell is countered this way, you may draw X cards. "

C'mon Giant Spider reprint!
On a more serious note, MTGSalvation confirmed Evolving Wilds and Arbor Elf.
