Default Dragon Ball Z Online Card Game

If anyone is still interested in playing the dbz card game, there is a new dbz card game very similar to the game Score created.

The Dragon Ball Z Online Card Game was designed by Top Tier Gaming as a way to relive the fun found in the original Dragon Ball Z Collectible Card Game. Toptier wants players to continue enjoying to play Score’s dbz card game, but to prevent it from becoming stale they also wanted to create new sets to continue introducing a fresh sense of fun and strategy into the game. They didn’t want to make changes to the original game, so instead decided to start with a fresh slate and create a new dbz card game based on the original where they could start again from the beginning. The DBZ OCG takes the best parts out of both the DBZ CCG and the DBGT TCG, while leaving out some parts of the original games that players didn’t like. It includes many of the strategies and cards from the original game so players will still be able to use some of their favorite decks.

This is an online card game which means that no cards are printed for the game and the only way to play it is online. You can play the game for free and use any cards you want, so no one will have an advantage over you by using cards you don’t have. Top Tier Gaming has just moved the game to their new official website for the DBZ OCG (link shown above). We hold online tournaments which are free to enter and hold game nights every Saturday.

To play the Dragon Ball Z OCG visit the official site at www.dragonballzocg.com

Holy hell! "Mastery through Legacy" is insane! ... maybe even broken...

using a blue gohan deck and naming "blue"? ... then Gohan's Elbow Block? X_x

Mastery through Legacy is a freestyle mastery so you can't use any styled cards with it. But it still gives you a lot of interesting ways you can use it. So far no one has discovered anything broken with it but it can give you a lot of fun strategies to make decks with.

Some updates for anyone interested in what we're doing but haven't looked at it recently:

-------------
We've now started to create video matches of games which will all be posted on youtube. You can watch the first 2 here:
Darkhatchet55 (Bardock Black Strategic) vs Weaver (Nappa Saiyan Tragic):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FfNsj1fOQQ
Tournament 11 Finals Wilding (Dr. Wheelo Black Strategic) vs Just9001 (Lord Slug Orange Blitz):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaZ_MjkJ26o

We've also got videos for one of the T4 games and finals game recorded for the Tuff Enuff tournament which should be uploaded in 1-2 weeks when tehmsu has time to add commentary to them.

-------------
The reward points prizes have also been announced. Players can now exchange their points earned from participating in our tournaments or league nights to create their own cards for the game. This will make it easier for anyone to be able to make their own cards instead of only tournament winners like before.

-------------
Our new mentor program has been set up to help any new players to the site / game. One of our more experienced players who has volunteered to do this will help anyone who is new to the site get set up with all the programs they need to download / install to play the game, and also help them learn how to play the game if they don't know how to.

-------------
We have a facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pag...143299595689043 which will keep you up to date on everything happening in the DBZ OCG.

Additional Comment:

The Dragon Ball Z Online Card Game is getting ready to release its 5th set: Rebellion. This set focuses on the Android Saga and adds a lot of great new cards to the game. With some powerful new personalities and cards to strengthen a lot of the strategies already in the game this set will open up the game to even more possibilities, with more playable and competitive decks to use in the environment.

Rebellion will be released on November 25th. But we're starting off our previews now and our staff member Matt wrote an Article to tell you about what you can expect from Rebellion. To view this article click here - http://dragonballzocg.com/articles?showarticle=67. And check out our site each day for more previews until Rebellion is released.

Our account has been suspended because we've reached our CPU limit. I'm posting updates for everyone on the FB page.

What do you mean CPU limit? Too many users or too much data? Also are you guys going to release the patch at midnight Wednesday going into Thursday or just some random time on Thursday??

On March 28th the Dragon Ball Z Online Card Game will release its 6th set; Ascension. This set focuses on the Imperfect Cell and Perfect Cell sagas, and introduces another new set of Mastery cards into the game.

Over the past few weeks we have been showing off previews of cards from the Ascension set in our Announcements forum and FaceBook page. Some of our biggest previews have been the 2 podcasts discussing the Ascension set which can be found on our downloads page and a special video match previewing 2 of the new decks in Ascension which can be viewed on our YouTube page

To celebrate the release of Ascension we will be holding a sealed event starting on March 30th. This is a great way for new members to get into the game as the experience veteran players have wont matter as much when everyone receives a random deck to play with. As always the tournaments are free to enter and the winner will be able to make their own card for the game. Everyone will also receive reward points just for entering and these can be used on other prizes. For more information about the sealed event and to sign up for the tournament check out our registration topic - HERE.
