I don't know what to call this... Maybe my Ryko deck xD <3 Ryko <3
This is just an idea that have been floating in my head. I like Ryko, and I like the Volcanic engine, and I ended up with this.
It's a slow, controlling deck that destroyes a lot of monsters with Ryko, Chaos Sorcerer, Blaze Accelerator and the traps, and then uses Rocket, CyDra, Trooper and stuff like that as beaters.
It's also very defensive. The deck wants its beaters to stay on the field, and PWWBs, Gardnas, BTHs and stuff a really good job doing just that. Solemn and MBaaS is to help the monsters on the field as well.
The deck runs Oppressions as well, since it doesn't rely on special summons, unlike most meta decks.
It runs Plague and Gale as well, so it can also pull of Synchros. Plague is nice with al the milling, and placing dead Shells back on the top. Gale is mostly for the shrink effect.
I decided to run 2 Tragoes instead of Trago + Gorz because of the Oppressions. Trago is a nice beater in this since the deck rarely has less than 4 cards in hand, often more
Unfortunately, I haven't had an opportunity to test this yet, but I'll be quick at posting some records when I get some.
Monsters (20):
3 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
1 Card Trooper
3 Necro Gardna
3 Volcanic Shell
3 Volcanic Rocket
1 Sangan
1 Plaguespreader Zombie
1 Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind
1 Cyber Dragon
1 Chaos Sorcerer
2 Tragoedia
1 Snipe Hunter
Spells (10):
1 Blaze Accelerator
2 Pot of Avarice
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Brain Control
2 Book of Moon
1 My Body as a Shield
1 Charge of the Light Brigade
Traps (19):
2 Royal Oppression
2 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Solemn Judgment
Extra Deck:
2 Stardust Dragon
1 Red Dragon Archfiend
1 Colossal Fighter
1 Thought Ruler Archfiend
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Blackwing Armor Master
1 Goyo Guardian
2 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 Magical Andorid
1 Ally of Justice - Catastor
1 Mist Wurm
1 Arcanite Magician
1 Armory Arm
I have though about this/these card(s):
Card Destruction
What do you think of this?
I haven't really thought about a side deck yet, and I really have NO ideas xD
Rate/Fix/Flame - everything xD
Changes:
- Raigeki Break
- Wild Fire
+ Snipe Hunter
+ Charge of the Light Brigade

I only run 6 Fire monsters... and that way, I can only reuse my fire monsters... I want to reuse all my monsters.

true, but at the same time, most volcanic decks tend to hit 4 pyros in grave faster than they do 5 monsters. that and i hate the fact that PoA is a terrible card early game.

You could add a Charge of the Light Brigade to search your Rykos and mill cards to the graveyard.

Thank you Deckmaster! Do you have any ideas for improvement?
CotLB could be nice, but sometimes just 3 rykos is more than enough
How about the cards I though about myself.

As written, I haven't had an opportunity to test it yet, but test draws did well. I got some strong opening hands.
What do you think of the cards I thought about my self.

I say a caius or charge for raigeki break. You have enough discard outlets as is. Charge would mill well and get ryko for more mills. Caius for destruction and attack power.

im not against PoA, but there isnt anything wrong with another pyro that can also be somewhat of a beater.
if that is a problem, then how is running one teched CotLB any better?

1700 is a bad number for a beater... Startos is 1800, laquari is 1800, garoth is 1850, shura is 1800 and mezuki is 1700, so i'll rarely get any use of it as a beater. 2 poa is good for now...
Charge sounds nice I might replace Raigeki Break with Charge.
Additional Comment:
I got convinced about Charge, since it's now a cheap super rare xD
I'd really want to add Snipe Hunter in here, It's to long since I've seen this guy being played xD I think he'll do great in here
