I think most people get them on Ebay or by trading.

theres a ton of german mezukis on ebay right now, alot cheaper than the english ones too. Id rather have the german ones than english not only because the difference in price but they will probably end up going in price and there are people who collect other language cards and value them pretty high. That goes for any card.

Aren't German cards illegal in tournaments in the USA? I though you could only run english cards for tournaments here.

As long as you have an English translation for the card, it can be in any language, besides Korean and Japanese.

As long as it's TCG, it doesn't matter what language it is. I have 3 German Shuras myself.

German is the most vile, disguisting language in all the gumdrop forest... The only reason I would use German cards is if I already have it and it's shinier than my other cards, or if I get a good deal on them (like 20 for Mezuki).

I do not understand the hype with German cards. The language itself is stupid and ugly looking, and sounds rediculous. Why not a sexier language, like French or Italian?

German cards are pretty cool to look at, and trying to pronounce their names can end with funny experiences. Personally I go English all the way.

Thats such a rascist thing to say. Idk how you think that german is vile. If you think about it English is the most disgusting language, we have the most racial slurs and slang compared to any other language.

I love German cards (and really any TCG foreign cards), I'm trying to get my LS deck completely "foreigned" out - it's got 26/42 cards different language atm. My good foreign cards atm are:

1x Judgement Dragon (german)
3x Honest (2x german, 1x french)
1x Plaguespreader Zombie (german)
2x Destiny Hero - Malicious (german)
1x Blackwing Armed Wing (german)
1x Mirror Force (portuguese)
1x Solemn Judgment (german)
1x Goyo Guardian (german)
1x Allure of Darkness ultra (german)
1x Colossal Fighter (german)
1x Gorz (french)
2x Necro Gardna ulty and gold (german)
1x Caius the Shadow Monarch (german)
1x Heavy Storm super (portuguese)
1x Gladiator Beast War Chariot (spanish)
1x Lyla (german)
1x Celestia (german)
2x Wulf (german)
3x Solar Recharge ultra (german)
1x Aurkus (italian)
1x Thestalos (spanish)
1x Archlord Zerato (spanish)
Spanish Original Starter Deck Holos
3x Deep Sea Diva (german)
3x Lumina (german)
Quite a large # more of foreign rares and commons

I used to have:
1x Dark Armed Dragon secret (german)
1x Crush Card Virus gold (german)
2x Bottomless Trap Hole (german)
1x Brain Control ultimate (italian)
1x Necroface secret (german)
1x Snipe Hunter CP (german)
2x Destiny Draw (german)
2x Destiny Hero Malicious (german)
2x Allure of Darkness (german)
All GB commons and rares in german

I sold those ones though when I took a break temporarily. I usually just get them from trading people from different countries or by trading a guy at my locals who gets some every now and then.

How is it racist? Please do tell me how the statement was racist.

English may be a disguisting language because it has lots of racial slurs, but German is a diguisting language because of how frustrating and gross it sounds. My German is "NEEF FAKANDARF FRANKFURT VOLKSWAGON PORSCHE". The speaker always sounds angry.

Exclamation

English is a Germanic language... its DERIVED from the language that you so hate

I wish americans would READ and LEARN more, and im MORE than sure the ONLY time you actually heard someone or ANYONE speak in German was when it was Hitler Giving a speech, thats why it sounded angry or harsh...but alas this is off the topic of yugioh...

Americans value German or foreign language cards so high because they're so difficult to get for you guys, none of you live in Europe, its the same way how people LOVE cards that are in English in Paris, im asked to trade for my english cards all the time

and also:

Finsterer Jagdbomber

sounds WAY better than

Dark Strike Fighter
