Not if they are good anime cards with unnerfed effects.

Most people I've seen like Stardust Overdrive, and yet that was the most anime-heavy set we've had in a while. Go figure.

Unlike most anime-heavy sets, SOVR expanded on the themes introduced by the anime. Reptiless and Spiders got cards to make them from three-card archetypes to actual real archetypes. (Well, it could be argued that an archetype isn't an archetype until a card refers to it by name, so until a card shows up that says a "Spider" monster, Spiders still aren't a real archetype.)

"Lots of anime cards" doesn't neccessarily equal "bad set".

True, in fact CDIP had a very little amount of anime cards but it's the worst set ever, it doesn't even possess a single Judai cards which were always considered the reason why set were bad during the GX era.

i wonder if this set will also follow the trend of "black" sets by having some of the better cards in them
MRD: Mirror Force, Solemn Judgment, Heavy Storm
IOC: Chaos monsters
SOI: Demise, Treeborn Frog
PTDN: splashable DARK support
if Savior Demon Dragon keeps the effect, i can only imagine what the rest of the cards are going to be like

Thank god i'm not the only one. It really does make the monster stand out but the contrast of colours makes the entire pack look like something a 16 year old glam rock girl would decorate her bedroom in; black to be rockin' and pink because I'm a girly girl teehee.
Aaww Savior Red Daemon Dragon looks so camp it's almost like it's trying to make a statement.

One can also expect a not so good pack like SOI:
IOC -> great
SOI -> only few good cards ( except some of this had a big impact on the metagame like Demise and the accursed Frog )
PTDN -> great
Absolute Powerforce -> like SOI ?!

Let's hope to not see it happening again,except for the Cyberdarks(which didn't deserve such bad treatment) and other current crap meta cards,Cyberdark Impact was total crap,it really didn't help as it should and didn't give us anything that great as most of us expected!So for Absolute Powerforce I'm expecting a set like Crossroads Of Chaos/Crimson Crisis/Ancient Prophecy,overfocused in few themes and filled with some random and unhelpful support for the set itself.We already had great sets lately,Raging Battle and Startdust Overdrive are good examples,so honestly,I'm not that hopeful to see this set coming filled with great stuff!
