In this current meta, toon defense won't help you and will probably kill you, same with astral barrier. And spirit barrier won't help much. Solemns to help protect some cards, waboku to help your toons stay out at least one turn so they can attack directly.
It's better to focus on a few toons rather than almost all of them as all of the Toons except Toon Dark Magician Girl can't attack on the turn they're summoned. In mine I only run 5 (3 Toon Dark Magician Girls & 2 Toon Cannon Soldiers) along with support cards that allow them to come out quickly and do the damage.
Basically your deck is TOO reliant on Toon World being out on the field at the moment. I have to admit though, the Soul Exchange idea is a pretty decent one, especially with the amount of tributes it works more as monster removal in here ^^
Solemns are needed, as are Threatening Roars. Also some Synchro action would help, mainly because Stardust Dragon is so much better at protecting Toon World than Magic Reflector ^^
I can help with this (Especially if your on a budget as well) but need to know, are you wanting to focus on a few toon monsters or are you wanting a whole lot of them in like you have now?

You should also play Rose Warrior + Summoner Monk for the synchro summon of Stardust Dragon to protect your toon stuff.
