Nice Near with the swellow and no you can't reserve pokemon on this thread unless you are mentioned that you can on the topic post, but by all means you can do them.

Ok may I present in the corner of the ring, weighing at a mear 110.7 pounds, its HITMONCHAN!!!

NOTE: Hitmonchan most always Benefits from Hit Point EVs rather than Sp.DEF EVs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hitmonchan@lifeorb/expert belt
Ability: Iron Fist
Nature: Adamant
Ev(s): 252 Attack, 48 speed, 212 special def
-Agility
-Close Combat
-Ice Punch / ThunderPunch / Fire Punch
-Ice/Thunder/fire punch

Agility boosts it to 400 speed. Base special def is 340 and attack is 339. Overall this can take down most things.

NOTE that 160 Speed EVs are needed to outspeed everything up to CScarf Adamant Garchomp.
Also, Mach Punch is an option if you feel you won't have time to Agility.

The problem with Hitmonchan is that he is limited in what are good moves, but not good moves on him. Pursuit and rapid spin for instance aren't necessarily good on this, but I posted them because they have the abilty to help certain teams.

If you choose Pursuit, Mach Punch, or Fire Punch as your Last move, then Choice Band is definitely the Item to Hold.

I guess this can be a spinner and wall seeing how hitmonchan has pretty good special def and all. Pursuit again covers switches and weaknesses, close combat is just the best fighting move, agility is there to out speed everything, and Rapid spin is there because this is a spinner.

I'm not a fan of this as Hitmonchan can't really take hits well. Furthermore, unlike Starmie, it can't recover off the Damage.

Now I have a couple questions. Hitmonchan can only be a guy (and same with tyrogue his pre-evolved form) but somehow he can learn mach punch through egg move+a ton of other egg moves.

My first question is how do you get mach punch on it if he can't be a girl.

The second one is with the EVS that I've given you how is it possible for Tyrogue to turn into Hitmonchan. Now if you don't understand Tyrogue only evolves into Hitmonchan if Def>Att. The evs that I've given you would make the ATT>Def which would evolve the Tyrogue into Hitmonlee. Now I know there are the berries but is there any other way?
