Qwilfish.
All right, a personal favorite of mine, Qwilfish. Enjoy.
Choice Bander.
Qwilfish @ Choice Band
Ability: Swiftswim
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Speed/ 4 HP
-Waterfall
-Poison Jab
-Explosion
-Destiny Bond / Return
Choice Band variant. It's an all out attacker. This one, however, should be used on a Rain Dance team to get that Speed Boost. Waterfall and Poison Jab for STAB. Explosion if you don't think you'll live another Attack. Destiny Bond, same for Explosion, only on Ghosts and Steels. Return works too, I guess.
Flailer.
Qwilfish @ Focus Sash / Silk Scarf
Ability: Swift Swim
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 ATK / 252 Speed / 4 HP
-Flail
-Waterfall
-Endure
-Destiny Bond / Explosion
ONLY USE THIS ON A RAIN DANCE TEAM. Only use Substitute over Endure on a team with Kyogre, as Subbing down would waste the Rain Dance turns. If you predict right, you could switch right into an attack and get right down to 1 HP with Focus Sash. Endure if you are not on a Kyogre team. Destiny Bond for Ghosts that Waterfall can’t do much to. Explosion if you really like to blow things. Up. Silk Scarf to make this little guy hit REALLY hard with Flail.
Spiker.
Qwilfish @ Leftovers
Ability: Swift Swim / Poison Point
Nature: Lax [-SpDef, +Def]
EVs: [252 HP][104 Defense][152 Speed]
-Spikes
-Hydro Pump
-Toxic / Thunder Wave
-Explosion / Destiny Bond
Support Qwilfish. Get some Spikes down, Hydro Pump for those pesky spinners, Toxic and Thunder Wave to status switch-ins, and then sacrifice when you're done.
Credit to Smogon for this set. Credit to WildAce for the EV spread.^
Swords Dancer.
Qwilfish @ Leftovers
Ability: Swift Swim / Poison Point
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 ATK / 252 Speed / 4 HP
-Swords Dance
-Poison Jab
-Waterfall / Aqua Tail
-Explosion / Destiny Bond
DP has good news and bad news for Qwilfish. The good news is that Qwilfish now gets a second STAB attack to augment its physical movepool. The bad news is the loss of Sludge Bomb. While Poison Jab is a reasonable replacement - only a 10 BP drop - it leaves Qwilfish without a strong, reliable move. Aqua Tail can make up for this, but the accuracy drop is bad news for Qwilfish, who is rather frail. Hydro Pump is still available as usual to do more damage to certain physical walls, particularly if you're suicidal enough to use this in a BL or OU environment.
Credit to Smogon for the Swords Dancer. ^
*Note on it though. On a Rain Dance team, @ Focus Sash, Qwilfish might be able to Swords Dance, then outspeed some things to inflict some damage. Watch out for Stealth Rock on any Focus Sash set, however.
Basically any of these Qwilfish do a million times better with the Speed boost from Rain Dance. So keep that in mind.
Kk, I’m done with Qwilfish for now. Working on a custom set right now, can’t release details at the moment though.
