Poliwrath @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Atk / 156 Def
- Hypnosis
- Waterfall
- Rock Slide
- Brick Break

A fantastic Physical resist. He gets an easy switch in on most Tyranitar, Gyarados, and other Pokemon who use Rock/Dark/Bug/Water/Ice/Steel/Fire physical attacks. Once you've gotten in, Hypnosis or attack accordingly. Ice Punch is an option over Rock Slide/Waterfall if you can get it. The EVs provided are a basic idea of what you want, so you should adjust them to your preference.

Poliwrath @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 200 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Def
- Hypnosis
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Waterfall/Ice Punch/Rock Slide

Use its resists to get an easy switch in and Hypnosis to get you a free set up turn. Once you get a Substitute up, fire away Focus Punches or your other attack.

Poliwrath @ Choice Band
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 26 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spd
- Waterfall
- Focus Punch
- Rock Slide
- Ice Punch/Hypnosis/Brick Break

Outspeeds Max Speed Adamant Tyranitar, no Speed Gliscor, and the "standard" Bulky Gyarados. Works like a standard Choice Bander. Predict your opponent's next move and try to nail it for big damage. Choice Scarf is also viable on this set, and the EVs would give you enough speed to beat Max Speed, + Speed Nature base 110s(Gengar, Starmie, Tauros, Espeon)
