timid if your worried about aerodactyl, other wise i go modest. thunderbolt for obvious reasons, hp ice if you can get it for grounds a rock types, otherwise shadow ball for another attack move. T wave on switches and choice scarfers. Last move is debatable, i prefer substitute but i've seen the other two used as well

Jolteon is best used as a Baton Passer, but WHAT you intend to pass will depend on the moveset:

Jolteon @ Salac Berry / Petaya Berry
Nature: Timid (yes, I still believe in MAX speed)
EVs: 252 Speed / 252 Sp.ATK (OR 252 HP)
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Charge Beam / Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power: Ice / Hidden Power: Grass / Agility / ThunderWave

K, here's the scoop:
Jolteon has to come in on something that will switch out on it, on that turn, put up SUB.
From there, you can either attack with Charge Beam, Hidden Power, Paralyze, or set up Agility.
Eventually, you'll have to SUB down to EXACTLY 25% of your health...activating the berry...then comes the beautiful Passing.

NOTE: Make your HP DIVISIBLE by 4 for this to work.
