ANPR's World Premiere cards include 2 new X-Sabers, 2 new Koa'ki Meiru, an Earthbound Immortal card, and an anti-Synchro card.

There's also a very interesting card that can go in any deck. We're not sure how people will react to it but it could be very, very good. I like it a lot.

I'm very pleased with the TCG exclusives in ANPR. I think they're a lot better than the RGBT ones.

Stardust Overdrive's TCG exclusives include 2 more Koa'ki Meiru, including a Koa'ki Meiru "boss monster", a Six Samurai card, 2 new Lightsworn, something to replace 7-Colored Fish in Coelacanth decks (finally!), and another Earthbound Immortal card.

All of which is months away, so please relax and enjoy the cards available now.

I read a lot of these threads. I like reading opinions and often I quote you guys and send it to the folks in Japan.
Opinions = good (i.e. "I didn't like this card" or "I think this card sucks" are fine)
Complaining = bad; try to avoid complaining, please. (i.e. "stupid Konami should stick their heads in the toilet".... not productive)

Also, keep in mind that we don't want to publish anything here that massively alters things in Japan once the cards come out there. Cuz that can lead to having to forbid/limit cards unnecessarily.

Let's take X-Sabers as an example. The guys in Japan wanted to add X-Sabers to Ancient Prophecy, and to throw some X-Sabers into the Starter Deck to make it work in places where there's no Duel Terminal. "Will that be OK?" they asked.

My response was that cards like Gottoms, Gottoms' Emergency Call, etc. work off of having other X-Sabers around. So it's just a question of bodies. To make the deck work, you need enough X-Saber "dudes" in your deck so that you have them around. I also said that just the X-Sabers in the 2009 starter deck, plus the X-Sabers in ANPR, isn't enough to make the deck work.

So I said, well, let's make some TCG exclusive X-Sabers, and make them good, and then there will be enough "dudes" to make the deck function. All we really need is a couple more to bring the "dude count" up to critical mass. (I think you guys would find a lot of the Duel Terminal X-Sabers to be not that great and you'd feel like they are mostly filler, TBH.)

But here's the problem: eventually, we'll get the Duel Terminal X-Sabers from Japan. And Japan is going to get our X-Sabers here. Once you combine all of them together, does it become too strong? That's what we have to watch out for when developing cards for 2 isolated pods like this that eventually merge into 1.
