say if i wanted to raise a dusclops that wasnt necessarily used for toxic, but just for stalling enemy PP away...

would it be something like this?

-Mean Look
-Protect
-Torment
-Night Shade?

you won't get far without will~o~wisp. after you burn them, you can stall

Dusclops@chesto
=Confuse Ray
=Will-o-Wisp
=Shadow Ball
=Rest

WOW or confuse first. Then Rest if you took a hit. Have one attack like SB or something just in case. Very annoying. Immune to FTG and normal moves, including exploders and half the OHKO moves in the game. For PP-consuming Tankage Dusky is the best imo.

Got PP-consuming-tankage?

What about Grudge? You use Grudge a couple times, the Struggle, which is a normal move,so Dusky isn't hurt. When they switch, you switch as well, keeping Dusky for that one Poke that onmly has struggle...
Sorry for my N00Bness... ;)

Struggle affects all types, even ghosts.

spite would be uber on a dusclops. grudge would help when your opponent kills you with a PP Max Splash. they can't do anything to the rest of your pokes because splash is going to be the only strong move they have, because you don't need anything else with splash, unless you get grudged!

and using grudge over and over will ensure a hit.

Well, Grudge is insanely hard to use correctly if your opponent is smart (aka human, and not the computer controlled players). The opponent would just use some sort of stat enchancing move until Grudge's PP runs out, and then you'd most likely loose.

yeah, you shuld set up, then start attacking w/ SB or S-toss,then use Grudge when your opponent least expects it.

Grudge reduces the opponents PP to zero for the move that was used to KO your opponent.

If you really want to stall out then
Gorebyss@Brightpowder
- Iron Defence
- Amnesia
- Surf/Confuse Ray
- Baton Pass
Confuse ray if you are fairly sure you can defeat people without having this guy be your last pokemon. IMO it is better.

Then pass to
Dusclops@Leftovers
- Will-O-wisp
- Confuse Ray
- Mean Look
- Rest
This guy is very hard to kill. Maxed out defences+halved attack from burn+confusion+they can't switch.

If you really want a Piss Off People (POP) team then use this.

Just a comment about the POP team idea Good Sir HR--- watch out for any pokemon that could potentially have the Water Veil ability, since you won't be able to WOW them. You don't want to piss yourself off. Guess in that case you'd could either switch back to Gorby or try to get them to self-hurt from confusion and eventually struggle out. They'd probably pull the link before then though. :p

Got Water Veil?
