Tyranitar has sandstream ability. So make sure that the majority of your team is rock/ground/steel or you have another pokemon with a weather effect.
He's in monster and dragon, so he gets dragon dance through breeding.

My fave T-Tar set except I like Aerial Ace over Crunch. Awesome when used in 2v2 with an Assistant that has Follow me or Helping hand. :D

Don't use DD on Tyranitar, it'll just get ice beamed or surfed. Boah works way better imo.
