Yup, combine it with Tackle and Growl to get yourself a killing machine.

Don't forget Lock-on in that set, Sir Fallen Ronin. You know... Lock on, then splash. This way your attack won't ever miss. I think that is the standard set.
Got SplashLock?

Splash is only put on the Ubers. I guess that means that Magikarp is the only uber.

Splash has no purpose at all unless you pass max evasion, max defence, and max special defence to an already tough pokemon with a recovery move. Then if you max out the PP with PPmax or three PPups then you get 64 PP. You will make your opponent run out of moves and force them to struggle. You will most likely win when they pull out the link cable though because they will really be pissed off. My advice, don't use it.
You should always try to look at the advantages of something instead of saying how it is all bad. :p

How about in Contests?

Splash is g0dly in both battles and contests. If you use Splash in a contest, you're guaranteed victory
Edit: To be serious, has anybody actually used Splash in a contest before?

You want total pwnage? Then it has to be UberDisc with splash. It can learn it as an egg move. No, I'm not joking, it really can. Plus it has heart scales and is good to eat. Yummy UberDisc.

you didn't mention wobuffett. what a disgrace.
milotic with splash. there will be a new stanard!
wobuffett can beat any thing with teh splash. exept uberkarp. even uberdisc. the true power of splash is only embraced by majikarp. not even gyrados can use it well. but who would evolve teh ultimate killing machine of the uberkarp into that long snake? only a n00b. only a n00b.

I have not tested this, but I see no reason to doubt your good word, wobmaster. So I will admit to you, and to all, that UberKarp with Splash Rules.
But UberDisc is still better to eat.
Got forks?

Not much, because Feebas is too ugly, and thus, sucks.

You cannot eat Feebas either. (Who'd want to anyway?!) So even though it can learn splash, it is NOT in the same company as UberKarp or UberDisc.
Ok, so now the question is what do we eat with yummy Uberdisc during our Thanksgiving dinner? How about, uh, a bird maybe?
Got Pidgey?

I wonder if goshimasta has any idea what he started with this Splash question. As a result, we now have UberKarp, UberDisc, a whole list of UberSplashers, and evidently a new way to respond to those posters that ask us, uh, shall I say, 'splashy' questions.
Hey Wob, that Wobby in your sig is aw3som3n3ss. Are the shiny wobs really that color?
