Yep, he was hillarious on american idol. And yes, he is a pokemon player. He wrote reports for pokemon decks and other stuff here on pojo, and he plays in tournaments in California. Also, he got a record deal. Go figure :p

Hate to be the one 2 break it 2 ya venusaur, but its not about american idol moron. Its about someone on the show being a POKEMON trainer. And he was on TV, so it belongs here, I believe.

What are you talking about. The last 5 posts are spam. This is a topic attracting all spam so it should be taken care of. Who cares if it is a real pokemon trainer? I dont. This is nothing but spam even if he is a pokemon trainer. No1 is talking aboutthe topic.

Well, some posts get off track for a while. I've seen a lot. +, if you dont care about the topic dont post on it. +2, dont call it spam when its not. PPL just r saying they dont know who he is, and asking who he is. It shouldn't be locked because the forum is Pokemon television, movies and OTHER. The other is ne thing to do with pokemon.

For all people who have never heard of William Hung, here's a brief bio.

William Hung is a singer, whose debut took place on American Idol. His singing is, well, in my opinion not the best in the world, and he was not put through to the second round. In his "try-out", the judges made witty comments about him, but he responded with a "I've never had prior training and I just like to sing." His career took off, primarily because of his attitude and happy-go-lucky, not aware of the world type attitude, not his voice. He sung at a Volleyball game and people just wanted more. It's almost a joke, with the whole recording career, but people want to hear him and they've fallen in love with him because of that attitude. His main song is the "She bangs! She bangs!" which I can't remember the title.

Now, what does this have to do with Pokemon? Well, he was a Pokemon TCG player and (if I'm not mistaken) he actually wrote an article for Pojo before he became famous (or imfamous, your choice). He plays in California (still I believe) and just likes to have fun.

Hope I cleared up some questions here, but the whole thing about this topic was that celebrities have and do play Pokemon and other Trading Card Games.
