What are good pokemon for each contest and what might be some good moves to teach any of them?Thanks.

I havent done contests since i restarted my version but i was very successful with azumarill for beaty and altaria for cool.

One other thing idotn know if this happens with every pokemon in teh master rank they get No Appeals at all. But from Normal to Hyper they totally dominate well atleast Altaria i remember doign the contests with him the most.

Without going into great details, here's a few helpful info:

double team, 2 hearts turns quick attack/agility into 6 hearts
overheat is a 6 heart move
growl, waterfall, use it when your Pokemon is 4th, 6 heart
faint attack, shock wave, swagger, 6 heart move ONLY if your Pokemon is 1st
surf: 3 hearts if used on 1st, becomes 6 heart IF the Pokemon above you used a move that generated 1 or 2 hearts, surf becomes only 3 if the Pokemon above you used a move that was 3 hearts BUT then it becomes a 0 heart move if the Pokemon above you used a higher heart move.
Ancient Power, Cosmic Power, Howl, 1 heart move BUT great to keep your Pokemon from getting nervous if opp. pulled a mean look/disable/attract. After that move, any 2-6 heart move is upped by one heart and audience adds another if they liked it. You get a * from judge. If used again in round 3, ** and *** for round 5.

If you want your Pokemon to be pictured in LIllicove, get combo moves that generate 7 hearts (6 heart move plus 1 if audience liked it).

And look at your Pokemon's moves, they tell what is good for contests like on a Raichu has 4 cool moves, but Delcatty could have 1 smart and 2 cute moves. You got to evaluate which Pokemon could do good in contests.

If you were one of the people thatbought your versio nat a walmart you recieved a guide with the game that tells you all contest combos.

heres one:

maxed stats in contest you are entering
swords dance
slash
hidden/secret power

what you do is you use the SD-slash combo for the first 4 appeals, then use secret/hidden power in the last one, which boosts hearts every time you raise your condition(with SD). two pokes that can do this are absol and ninjask( you have to buy the hidden /secret power TM.)

You may want to look at the berry thread because it has a whole section on the contests. You will find some helpful info there to win the contests. I used the info and also added in my two cents, so I know that even though it will take like 5 minutes to read the contest stuff, it will probably be worth it if you can pick up a helpful tip or two.
