the other day i was looking for my doom 3 cd, which i still can't find, and stumbled upon my old lemmings cartridge(you know, the game that was made in 1991 and is so graphicly challenged it isn't even funny). seeing as i couldn't find my doom 3 cd, i figured what the hell i'll just play lemmings. I have already become addicted once again to the game after only two days. it kinda brings me back to the days when i was in first grade and would daydream about the game.

So anyway, what game have you ever been most addicted to?

Hm....I have a whole list lol. I have been addicted to Pokemon games, good rpgs *like Tales of Symphonia...and more. If a game is good i will most likeely get addicted. At the moment I am addicted to Dead Or Alive Ultimate. I have been playing a lot of that game lately.

Pokemon- I've been addicted to it since 1998. Though I'm not as addicted to it as I was when I was younger

Star Ocean:Till the End of Time- I wish I had played the previous Star Ocean games. This is definitely one of my favorite games of all time

GTA- I've been addicted ever since I got VC for Christmas in 2002

Metal Gear Solid- I've been addicted ever since I played the first Metal Gear Solid that came out in 1998. Can't wait for Snake Eater

Resident Evil- Has always and will forever be my biggest addiction of all time. It started when I got Resident Evil 2 for Christmas in 1998. I love this series more than anything. I've played every RE game that's ever came out and am currently waiting for RE4 to come out January of next year

I got addicted to Runescape because it was my first MMORPG. It was so exciting being in a huge world full of other players. I quit when I realized that I was doing nothing but training to level up most of the time.

Another very recent addiction was to Capcom vs. SNK 2 at the arcade. I think I spent over $ 10 just on that machine. I broke the addiction when I saw someone get to Shin Akuma, only to lose miserably. I played and got to Shin Akuma and didn't even scratch him. So I realized I'd never beat him since the other guy was better than me at that game. Now I finally have quarters to spend on other things.

Half-Life has been on my computer since I got it a few months after it came out. I play it through every couple of months or so. It's still my benchmark FPS.

i have bad news.

my dad got mad that my brother and i are constantly fighting over the computer(to play counter strike). He got so mad that he friggin UNINTSALLED IT AND STEAM AND SOLD IT TO EB GAMES FOR STORE CREDIT. needless to say, i am very depressed and i am now suffering counter strike withdrawal.

i am able to get by playing doom 3 now, but i want CS back so badly

I started playing Counter-Strike: Condition Zero online with Steam about a week ago..


Now all I do is daydream about what guns I'm going to use the next time I play, how I'm going to aim, what I'm doing wrong. Thinking about what to change my name in the servers...x_X;

It's totally sucked up my life for the time being..It's just so addicting..especially just knifing the chickens over and over in cs_italy_cz...It's just hilarious. >_>

HOWEVER...I just got Halo 2 today this morning and I've already beaten it, but I'm just drooling over it now. So basically I'm getting addicted to that game now, too and I'm going to end up just going back and forth from my X-Box to the computer playing both games. -_-

ive been addicted to several pc games... i downloaded weapon skins onto my CS file, so i had a guitar as my melee weapon, a chicken as my C4, a cocacola bottle as my grenade, Goombas as chickens in CS_italy...

I was hooked on Rollercoaster Tycoon for a really long time, id mute the coaster music, and listen to mp3s on my computer... and drink soda and stuff...

ive also been hooked on the dating sim games on newgrounds.com, i actually made an FAQ on my computer with all the information for simdate, and Ganguro girl! ^_^

Yeah, when you have 3000+ hours logged on Doom2: Hell on Earth, you know you got problems. It's also bad when you know every monster on every level, including some of the countless mods.

D2 was the biggest addiction. Next one was probably Dark Colony, as I managed to break my 12x CD playing it back in 97/98. Oh good times.

halo was a sub-par FPS to begin with. While great on the x-box, it brought nothing to pc users like me. Doom on the other hand started it all...and is in my views the best game ever made.

my dad is in the air force. and the assignment he used to have required him to fly(as a passenger) all over the place to attend various meetings. he got bored while he was on the airplanes because he was used to flying them, not riding passenger, so he put doom on his work laptop. thats how i got introduced to doom, and i have been obsessed with it on and off over the years.

Addictive game? Starsiege Tribes (the first one). I still play it now, it's a great online FPS if you know how to play. It's both addictive and fun if you know how to play. Now it's a free download someplace..

I have actually owned almost all of these systems in one form or another... Except X-Box. I haven't had one of those yet... I think I actually missed out on Sega CD (Didn't seem to miss anything on that one...) and the Sega 32x. The first attempt at making 32 bit graphics. Terrible, if I remember correctly... The only one I didn't actually own was the Super Nintendo. But I got that on my computer as a emulator. Had, actually.
