If I was playing affinity and someone used a chain of acid on me would I chain it and throw it back at something of thier's seeing as why not use something for free if your opponent is giving you the choice. I can see why some wouldn't but for the sake of conversation. i was looking at both the chain of acid and creeping mold and I was kinda deciding which is better

the chain of acid has the 3G cost compared to the 2GG and the potential for multiple copies depending on how far your opponent wants to push it this could be green's little armageddon. or simply a creeping mold if your opponent doesn't want to chain it.

I don't really know about this chain stuff you talk about, but I use Creeping Mold in my deck. It gives you the ability to destroy, artifacts, enchantments or lands. You probobly knew that but....I'm tired... :D

Chain of Acid 3G

Destroy target noncreature permanent. Then that permanent's controller may copy this spell and may choose a new target for that copy.

sorcery

basically it's a creeping mold that they can throw back at you, you can also throw it back at them until one of you decides not to.

(well i can't say it's a creeping mold, this can't kill an artifact creature.)
