For the record, you were referring to Latias and not Latios, right?

they appear at random. you just need to beat the E4 once. its a little like looking for a shiney, exept shineys are rarer. if you want a real challenge, try to find a shiney lati@s. :eek:

lakias in general is hard to find but shiney is like tryingto teach caterpi hyper beam in it's not goning to happen

Through moveset manipulation/modifying using an AR/GS, a Caterpie can learn Hyper Beam

*Ahem* Latias I found was the easiest pokemon to catch. She can appear at random but there is also a way that you can get her easily. This was posted by someone else a while ago for me. This is what you do. You go to the market and u but a super repel or a max repel. I can't remember I am pretty sure it is a super repel. Anyways you fly to Lilycove and change your first position pokemon to one that is at lvl 40 or under. Because latias will not appear if it is over. Once your there right before the entrance of that Safari zone like thing you use your super repel and walk around in the tall grass. Latias should appear soon. If she does not you did not mess up. Just walk or ride ur bike back to lilycove and make sure to buy another repel. Or just buy a few. It took me a couple times walking in the tall grass to catch her but eventually I suceeded. DO NOT fly or Latias will be gone and this trick won't work. Anyways I am pretty sure that's how u do it....happy catching!

Well then he should have looked there first instead of asking now shouldn't he of? It's not my problem he didn't check the help thread and when I was looking to catch Latias that part wasn't added. So don't blame me blame him. At least I had enough sense to give him some actual advice on how to catch latias...instead of saying oh it appears randomly or you can only catch it in Sapph. u have to go to an island on ruby. I make pokemon dreams come true unlike you people only telling him half the truth and keeping the secrets for urself!
