FR/LG Battle Tower

Whats some good teams for FR/LG BT? Do you think a Blissey,Gengar, Venusaur will be a good team? BT is going to be teh best in this game because you can enter your pokemon at any level and your opponents pokemon will be at what ever your highest level is on your bench.

i prefer the R/S BT..it looks better...
they should hve made this BT more challenging or somehthing

i think the FR/LG will look better because teh graphcis in FR/LG are much better then Ru/Sa

Well two of your pokes are weak to Psycic attacks gengar is weak to grounds attacks like earthquake, which would take Blissey out to as it has hi Special Defense, but low regualr defense.

what attack should blissey know that will counter Ground attacks

i think blissey is awesome, i was just checking it attacks, she could be a aromatheripist (breed move), heal-beller (breed-move), and it can learn water pulse, she is a all rounded pokemon by the looks of it

is waterpulse a good move to counter ground? Maybe i can make it an armatherapist or a heal beller instead of a tank i am still not sure.

water pulse, in my own opinion, is good with 90% accuracy, 60% attack power and a 20% chance of confusion

It seems like a decent attack. What i dont like about it is its not 30% chance of confusion. And also only a basic attack power of 60

It seems that everyone has forgotten about Ice Beam, which she can learn and will definitely fend off the ground types. However, blissey probably doesn't make the best tank, as it is very hard to bolster her low defense, unless u baton pass her some defense or something. Also, Venesuar 1 you should not be posting all those little quips in individual posts just to up your count, as it makes the topics very cluttered...

First, Blissey can get serene grace. 60% burn with fire blast helps out with her pitifully low defense, and 20% freeze with ice beam is nice. Second, aromatherapy>heal bell. Soundproof negates heal bell. So,

-Aromatherapy
-Fire Blast/counter
-Softboiled
-Ice beam
*Calm/modest, 252 defense/252 HP or SA/6 speed

Either you can defend against physical attackers with fire blast, or retaliate with counter. Ice beam lands 20% freezes. If you go with fire blast, 252 EVs in SA, if counter, 252 in HP.
Before anyone says it,

Damage:
Fire blast: 120*.85=102
Flamethrower: 95

Burn rate:
Fire blast: 30*2*.85=51%
Flamethrower: 10*2=20%

So, as you can see, Fire Blast is better than flamethrower (especially for Blissey's purposes.)

I can't wait to go to the FR/LF BT because I've been waiting a long time to make my new OHKO team. I'll have Persian in lead as the Assistant and will use Lapras since it can learn 2 OHKO moves. IDK who the third pokemon will be yet, I have to see which ones learn OHKO moves. Maybe I'll be real lucky and find another that can learn two. That would be truly awesome.

[The battle tower on Crystal is FAR BETTER then the RS battle Tower, I mean on Crystal, you can battle a POkemon starting at level 10 whereas on RS, 50 and 100 leveled? That's not fun. Soon as I get my 16 badges, I'm going to take on the Crystal Battle Tower.

FR/LG BT will be the best because what ever level pokemon you enter your opponents pokemons level depends on your highest level.
