Now this is probably one of the few reasons im buying MM! I cant wait to try him out! His range of crazy powers and starting attack of 12 AND range is good enough for me! I would also expect for his attack to closely mimic, or just be a bit lower than thors. I cant wait to try and get him!

That makes the most sence. I would personally like it to be AOA Apocalypse. But that probably wont happen.

There were 3 or 4, sure - but there was only 1 super powerful figure in Thor.

I think Loki can stand up against Thor with the right TA's and he is definitly powerful from what I can see.

If they make one figure more owerful - that would prob be alright (as long as its a mutant)... but two more uniques even stronger then this guy - that would be overboard.

A set should only have 1 or 2 unique figures over 160 pts - if even that many.

I was talking about Unleashed. Not Ultimates. And Unleashed had Superman, Magog, Wonder Woman and Shazam!. Shazam! is not that strong but the other 3 are. The other 3 are awsome pieces that could be the focal point of a team.

there should be some pretty good rev's in this set spiderman and wolverine MIGHT finally turn out right, deadpool,cable and bishop could all turn out pretty well and from the looks of some of the le's those are also probably pretty good in their rev im thinking there will probably be an ult nightcrawler or quicksilver

WW wasnt a good enough figure to build any serious teams around.

Loki on the other hand - will be! I'm sure you'll see this figure in tournaments all over the nation - and I'm sure he'll pop up in many regional teams as well.
He is a Vet Ultron with better powers and is also 20 pts cheaper.

I can see why you all want to have multiple 200+ pt figures, but when Wizkids does things like this - its pointless. People will not buy boosters, they will buy the singles off of eBay. Wizkids only hurts themsevles when they make 3+ super high power uniques.

Two high power figs is fine - but they seriously need to concentrate on the REV sets and make a few decent all around pieces.

Cable should be a HIGH power unique, but I doubt he will be (if there is a unique of him at all).

Listen people................Loki is Vet Dr. Fate, but better. He's gonna to be a major support piece in high point games. We haven't even started seeing the amazing uniques yet.............

If thats the case - then I'm glad I stopped playing, the game is becoming a joke.

People want powerful figures and stupid powerful uniques - even when the figures do not deserve it.

Then - after they print KC Supes and Thors, players still complain about the low quality of the REV's.

Making high power uniques wont satisfy anyone and it will not help sell product. They are going downhill and they know it.

Loki should be the #2 figure IMO.


Tournaments and casual play games have turned into "Whats my best most expensive unique compared to yours" competitions. It's a JOKE! By printing numerous powerful uniques, they ruin the quality of the game and quality of the tournament competition.

In regionals - it was nothing but KC Supes winning all the booster draft tournys, which is sad. They make all these amazing uniques, yet make pitiful REVs that cannot compete - which is a total mistake.

THEN - they want you to play in tournaments for LE's, and to be honest - the LE's are the worst figures EVER!! The ONLY good LE's I've ever seen are J. Foster, Little Sure Shot, the con artist chick and Peter Parker.

Tournaments are a complete joke nowadays and Wizkids is not doing anything to prevent this - especially if they make 4-5 more uniques that tower over Loki in overall power.

Everybody wants these super powerful uniques ONLY because the REV nowdays SUCK. In order to create a decent team, you are forced to play uniques - and this makes no sense what-so-ever.

You shouldnt be forced to spend 50+ dollars on a unique (or boosters to find the uniques) just to be able to compete in games. Wizkids has said this themselves, but they make the situation even worse by printing 4-5 150+ pt uniques with god like powers and then making REV's like Anaconda and Wrecker - who SUCK and are almost identical to all the other 0 range figures they ever make.

Wizkids is a joke to me anymore...
I used to enjoy the game, but they have ruined it for everyone who used to take it serious.... :(

Thats why you do what I do and make senarios that give you only limited selections for your teams. Yes I do agree that you shouldent have to have a U on your team to win but untill they start makeing figures on the same scale that Firelord was in IC set I see it staying the way it is. I do agee however that it is pretty sad that you have a better chance to win if you have one of the better Us then a team full of nons. I can remember a time when it was who could build better team instead of who has the best U and it is pretty depressing especialy when you post a team and ask what would you use against it and the teams you get are U Thor/KC Superman teams.

This is why i like Marvel sets much more than DC. DC sets are always superpowered. and it annoys me greatly. KC Supes is my most hated piece. All the other uniques take some skill to use them. But even average players can win a game with KC Supes.

Truth is, people will always find something to complain about. High Power Uniques, Rule Changes, whatever. MM is looking to be my favorite set, while almost everyone else here looks like they hate it. Some people do only want Uniques on their team, and some people hate them.

The true glory about Heroclix is that you can play using your favorite characters . Easy as that. That's the only reason I started playing this game. To play as my favorite characters in a fun game.

I'll admit, some REV do suck. It's all how the desinger sees the character, I guess. But, if Princess Python or someone like that was my favorite character, I sure as heck would use them.

It looks like you are looking at just a competitive viewpoint. People want to win those LE, because they want their favorite characters . Theme teams are what I try to play in tourneys. If you have the skill, you can take down just about anyone in a tournament, KC Supes or not.

Also, REV don't suck. Hawkeye, Captain A, Black Adam, Blak Widow, Hal GL, all of those figs sure don't suck if you ask me.

And about LE: If they suck so much, why do people use Cheese in tourneys to get them?

you know what i would like to see for wizkids to make every piece playable seriously if you could get a pack no matter what was in it and have all pieces you could use that would be awsome. i mean i don't think there is a reason why they can't make every piece playable, every piece should fit into a certain niche and i have NO idea why they keep making spiderman and wolverine so bad its annoying! the best wolverine was probably eithere logan or the ic unique wolverine and spiderman well probably the le peterparker from ultimates but cmon these characters are legends and should ALWAYS turn out right or they should just not be made at all cause im tired of seeing wolverine have a 15 defence with toughness and not enough regeneration

Sir_Unforgiven, sorrry, but that's exatlly what I mean. You just can't always please everyone. I agree, but with too many powerful figs, the game would just be too broken. Wolvie and Spidey are there because the newbies want to see Spider-man and Hulk, not , Ultimates for example, Scourge, Crimson Cowl, Sidewinder, and Wrecker. Because they don't know who the characters ARE!

Wow nicely put Chimpy2888. At least once a week at tornements we play the kind of team that would make other people cry but most of the time its teams we would like to see together and that is what makes Hero clix so great. I wish more people would do the same.
