Here's my ruby team right now, before going through the league:

Manectric, Lv49
Static - Naive nature
King's Rock or Magnet
-Thunder Wave
-Thunderbolt
-Bite
-Double Team

Swellow, Lv49
Guts - Naughty nature
King's Rock
-Fly
-Aerial Ace
-Double Team
-Endeavour

Aron, Lv49 (YES! Unevolved!)
Rock head - Timid Nature
Quick Claw
-Metal Claw
-Iron Defense
-Mud slap
-Double Edge

Masquerain, Lv51
Intimidate, Calm nature
Shell Bell
-Attract
-Stun Spore
-Water Pulse
-Silver Wind

Swampert, Lv52
Torrent, Quirky nature
Amulet Coin
-Earthquake
-Muddy Water
-Ice Beasm
-Surf

Shiftry, Lv49
Early Bird, Careful nature
Miracle Seed
-Faint Attack
-Fake Out
-Growth
-Bullet Seed

I didn't keep track of EV but I tried to face the right opponents, and all of my Pokés got their Effort Ribbons. I feel like Shiftry is the weak link of my team, it doesn't cver any weakness and just has lackluster moves, I just keep it out of loyalty as I have it since it's Lv 4!(I don't change my team much during a game). I also feel like I will be slaughtered by Steven, I got nothing that can really handle steel types! Maybe I could teach my Shiftry Brick Break to make it more useful.

Any comments?

Two flying attacks on Swellow? Drop one of them.

Why not two? They serve different purpose...

What did you have in mind?

I don't really feel like breeding and raising again Pokémons I had since the begining of the game... I'm not THAT serious in my raising.

I'm NOT evolving Aron...

And your 'fix' of my Masquerain totally wrecked it's whole purpose!

How does a Swampert learns Refresh? Is that a level up move??

Breeding is a pain in the neck... beside my Swampert is male.
