No, Double Colorless energy only fulfills a colorless energy requirement. It can't be used to fulfill any other type requirements.

That's what Rainbow Energy does. Rainbow can fill any energy requirement.
As a matter of fact, there is a Double Rainbow Energy coming out in the next set: Team Magma VS Team Aqua.

All in all, a pretty decent card for todays evo-heavy decks.
