I wish they would limit CFnomnomD and ban Limiter Removal. We could easily climb up to 1 for just a format, it's all I'm asking.
this is just stupid on banning Limiter Removal just to make us tier1 which doesnt make sense because limiter is like our game condition -_-. just limit Cyber Dragon and then its all good even if cfd is limited people will only tend to use 1 of them most of the time.

it's the one and only card I hear people complain about through machines, so why not? I've won games without drawing into it before. I like triple Cyber Dragon, it's just CFD is the real problem. I notice people don't like running Cyber Dragon because of CFD threat. All those times this thread has argued about it... kinda hard to forget.

and plus, we all know first turn Gearframe, Fortress, Giant Trunade, Limiter Removal is broken.

Personally I would cut the Genex Neutron, because you seem to want to make arcanite plays off breaker. It depends heavily on what Monster:Spell:Trap ratio you want, and how many cards you're running in the deck in total.

Haha when people start using System Down it just makes me happy because people would start countering us specifically machines. Banning of CFD would just lead us to more explosiveness but konami wouldnt do that =/

Wat do u guys think about 2 malefic cyber end in the side. Since Dragunities and GKS are so popular, u could potentially drop a free 4k beater. Also at worst it's a 1 card pitch for fortress. I also side in 3 Zombie World against certian decks. I think it deserves some more testing. Ur opinions?

I actually dropped a Birdman for a Reaper last minute today.
Didn't really regret as Reaper is an MVP this format. So good.

DDWL MVP. Spirit Reaper won me 2 games due to massive plus. Siding into Snowman and Grand Mole too good. Kinetic ***** LSS. I beat 2 GK due to me being awesome and maining + siding a NoC. Veiler is honestly not as useful as I thought it would be, since it's only during their turn. I had 1 game where I opened with it and was ready to negate Kagemusha, but he drew poorly and didn't have the opening anyways. Shi En is really friggin' annoying, can't draw into monster-based monster-hate enough vs that ******.

They draw, look at their hand, and attack. You now win.
That was basically it vs LSS. Vs Gravekeeper I would remove recruiters/descendants with BTH and use DDWL to remove their Assailants/Attackers. Played some random burn, won 'cause I could remove Marshmallon. What else did I play, a rough netdeck of Flores' winning deck. DDWL removing Rai-Oh too good.
As we can see in Flores' deck, monster-based monster-hate is trump this format. DDWL is just so good right now. The worst play I had to do today with DDWL was ram her into a Shi En to get rid of it for -1000 life points.

To answer your question, yes. You asked me how I would fit in force in that line-up. That is how I would do it. However, since I've never tried to build a deck using birdman before, I don't really have any experience with that sort of style. In my current control build, I run 42 cards with 19 monsters. As I stated, I have no idea on how many cards you run in your deck, and so I chose the best possible option from my point of view. I would honestly only run Neutron if you wanted to draw birdman more and if you wanted more deck-thinning, which IMO, machina have enough of already.

Dude u have to tell me how to use ddwl effectively I usually find it kinda dead at late games or like when my opponent over swarms the field

my my my god......triple D.D. Warrior ladies with rota is is just ******* beast! I just played my friend's gravekeepers on which I usually lose 1st game since I only carry 2 breaker but when I added the ddwl engine it was just amazing!

When I buy Duality's I am going to -2 Upstart Goblin and add them in. I just do not want to buy them until all 18 of Gold series 4 cards have been released.
The basic strategy of this deck is to summon Genex Ally Triforce with Birdman and a gadget really easily. It has a broken effect when summoned with an earth monster, and this deck makes getting it really easily. I also find it very good agaisnt Gravekeepers, it has alot of spell and trap hate. This is how my games usually go if all go to plan.
Game 1 vs GK: Destroy Necrovalley as much as possible with Malevolent Catastrophe, Mystical Space Typhoon and just use as much of my spells and traps as possible to hurt them with Smashing Ground, solemn warning, Royal Oppression, and D-Prison.
Game 2 vs GK: I now side in my 3 Cyber End Dragon, 3 Malefic Cyber End Dragon, Mind Crush and Trap Dustshoot. I then try and go for game with my 4000 beatsticks since they have helped me out with Necrovalley on the field.

If you reread Triforce's effect, you will see that it is an ignition effect.

And even if I can, I can't remember which one is which. etc etc. I have to rely on the only reliable judge in my city cause every other judge *****s up rulings for me.

Judge: "Yes you can. No it's not an inherent summon"

I cannot really understand how can I fit in a tripple D.D. Warrior Lady? This would mess the hand entirely. Plus, it cannot be used for summoning Machina Fortress, and by drawing 2 of them you will suck a huge Dic K.

I am as well, although I know most of my triggers and ignitions. The only reason I could tell for Triforce was that it said 'Once per Turn....' not 'When this card is summoned...' . I had to double check on wikipedia as well :P

Went 1-4 at the same local I went 4-1 and 5-0 at the last two weeks.
I was off my game. Focusing on trades and such. Over extending for fun, seeing how people handle it. My only win came in a bye, lol.
I've been focusing so much on my Hyperion deck I almost forgot how to run smoothly. I miss veilers effect over 5 times now that I'm running two. I guess not playing gadgets got me out of my groove.
In other news, that Hyperion deck wrecks face.

It's not an "engine" -_-
It's just tech. 5 plant cards is an engine because it actually adds a lot to the deck, and the deck's plays are based around those 5 plants. Running triple DDWL, while boss, is just tech.

Anyone have thoughts on maining Duradark? I just got one and am strongly considering maining him.

Side/Main? Outs to Shi En are always good, but I'm wondering what this format you can really take down with his effect that would warrant him being mained. Only GK and Shi En come to mind, so it seems more of a side deck card.

I prefer him in side. There's a lot of decks at my locals that do not really run dark monsters so...

I'll keep singing it, but Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 "Sazank".... Loving the hell out of it. Like Duradark, it's an out to Shi En, but unlike Duradark, it's ability to deal with monsters is more generic and... it doesn't "destroy". :cool:
Duradark's main advantage is that it's faster but it can also get hit by Musakani Magatama.

I've had limited opportunity to test against that match up. However, that is one match up where D.D. Warrior Lady might function better since it can truck a Recruiter and then straight send it out of play.
That being said, I can already say Sazank works just fine against Samurai, X-Sabers, Stun, and Gladiator Beasts. In those match ups, Sazank doesn't frequently work any worse, can actually work better, or it simply either doesn't hurt or doesn't change much.
Right now, I'm currently at a single D.D. Warrior Lady... Might be going up to two, though.

A lot of monsters but I guess that's a plus when you run Birdman. Haven't tested it much as spring break started but I might do some testing on Wednesday with my friends.

I'll keep singing it, but Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 "Sazank".... Loving the hell out of it. Like Duradark, it's an out to Shi En, but unlike Duradark, it's ability to deal with monsters is more generic and... it doesn't "destroy". :cool:
Duradark's main advantage is that it's faster but it can also get hit by Musakani Magatama.
It's decent tech if u got a burei in the side. I won a game won by synching gale and a gadget into burei, SS sazank. Hit over my oppenent's Grandmaster (cut from GAle), Kageki, for a great deal of damage. He tops Juju master. Sets it. I turn it to atk mode with Burei, He goes: " WTF! Burei can DO THAT?" I switch it to atk, and proceed to hit him for game =P Good times....

my my my god......triple D.D. Warrior ladies with rota is is just ******* beast! I just played my friend's gravekeepers on which I usually lose 1st game since I only carry 2 breaker but when I added the ddwl engine it was just amazing!

ya it was just a trial right now i dropped 1 ddwl and 1 rota for 1 breaker and 1 Cyber Dragon. Cyber Dragon makes birdman plays alot faster =/

It'd be a lot better if Burei could flip Sazank back down and if Sazank was a tuner, neither of which are the case. The purpose of Sazank is to set it and forget it. Friend of mine *****ed at me so hard while he was playing Samurai because he's like "Sazank isn't fair, I have no answer to it, that card is overpowered"... Yet Shi En is totally fair because without Sazank, my only answer is Fortress and Shi En basically shuts down the very spell/trap-based removal Machina Gadgets is otherwise completely dependent upon.
Yeah, that's more fair, though. >_> My tech answers or dodges three of your cards. Your absurd, brainlessly easy to summon synchro guy answers almost my entire deck, single-handedly. :rolleyes:

The build I qualified for nationals with was also a non-solid. I'm not opposed to Solidarity decks doing well, but I get nervous about Solidarity clogging my draws. That being said, Solidarity+Gadgets+Royal Oppression = :cool:

how does it do
Ive only had the chance to test it against my formula deck but it lost twice in about 10 or so matches. It pretty surprising actually. At one point in one game I had Dark Armed, Fortress and a Gadjiltron on the field. Magical Hats sort of counteracts MCED but not enough to where I would drop MCED. Ill know for sure how it works in two days when I go to a tourney.

TKRO might be good this format just for that lol. All I could say is that we should watch out for those Doppel shenanigans and stuff I upped my DDWL to 3 since I realized that this deck has a hard time getting rid of bigger monsters late game.
Oh ya has anyone bought anything from ideal808 in ebay because I bought a birdman there and I heard that they take too long to ship and stuff

Well sure it hurts us alot when Fortress is gone but the deck itself has a lot of ins and outs to win duels just like when my opponent uses Prohibition and calls out fortress, I was still able to win with the "techs" that I put in the deck so ya. You should post up your deck so we can see on what we can fix on it.

For some reason I feel that Machina Gadgets is like a Religion and that KMP didn't like how Machina Gadgets work and changed their ways on how they touch lil kids.

It only sucks early game.
I'd rather run pretty much any tech card over it. That makes it terrible enough in my mind.
ive ran it without it before and trust me when u top deck gearframe late game with no other machines in hand...u wish u had force in ur deck
Ehh. I wouldn't build the deck without force. Late game, I'm looking forward to either Force or Gearframe to get Force.
Now, I tried the 2nd force in the side for GK. I hated that. One is max for me.
Force is outdated... Yay for Machina Cannon.

I really like this deck, the YZ-pieces are searchable by peacekeeper.
Peacekeeper and valley are very good with Machine Duplication.
Discard a XYZ piece for fortress, fill up the graveyard with light machines, remove them for eltanin, RFTDD for the win
Honest can be used as unexpected surprise.

Hey I'm working on a Machina deck (because the Machina Mayhem deck was the cheapest to buy haha) but sadly I don't have many cards (well, over 100 now) but not these 'techs' you guys talk about or cards like Smashing Ground, bottomless etc.
I was wondering though, how do Machina decks play against decks that focus on Removing cards from play. Because once fortress is gone, the deck is pretty much useless. Would like some advice :)

Not if you're good. The only cards that commonly see play that RFP are D. Prison and Bottomless. When you become a better player at this game, you'll learn to read those cards or force exchanges that leave you at the advantage in terms of Card Advantage (CA).
Remember, everytime someone Bottomless's or D. Prison's your gearframe, you've just won that exchange.

I would just run Dust Tornado or even better 7 tools if u're afraid of warning. I mean u don't want to waste a summon bringing out Snipe Hunter when u could be dropping a gadget for a plus. Also wat if u don't have excess gadgets to ditch, and if u do have excess gadgets, why not ditch them for fortress instead, which I might add is an out to stardust and shi en, among others, that u would be targeting with Snipe Hunter anyway. Also of course Snipe Hunter is not even 100% accurate! I just don't see Snipe Hunter as being beneficial in anyway, it is in my opinion terrible ygos to play in Machina Gadget.

I think the fissures should be replaced by 7 tools to hit warnings and any other traps which would really hinder the beat down power of the deck. There are other things I dislike too but I really don't feel like going into an argument about Solidarity vs non-solidarity.....

Well sure it hurts us alot when Fortress is gone but the deck itself has a lot of ins and outs to win duels just like when my opponent uses Prohibition and calls out fortress, I was still able to win with the "techs" that I put in the deck so ya. You should post up your deck so we can see on what we can fix on it.

i went in fully expecting no trish and at least 2 birdman. as far as I know, I'm done with this set. If I do get some packs of it again and get some birdmans, I'll let you know.

the scrap recyclers I personally like becuz the send fortress to the grave,I discard two gadgets for fortress to ss and then recycler recycles my gadgets and I draw a card.I see your point about the fissures they were just filler I'll relplace them with seven tools.Thnx for the input!

i bought 2 birdmans and 1 trifocre for 10 bucks.
btw if you gunna run gad dragons with machinas, take out the gadgets and add Gigantes and minefield drillers. Gigantes detroys all spell/trap cards so that mean Geartown, and minefield driler recycles your Geartown.

One of the cards I'm considering for the sideboard is Zombie-World. It's good in the Samurai match, it's good in the Karakuri-Machina-Plant match up (since they can't make Buriedo without a Machine-type non-tuner), it'll take away many of the power plays of Frogs, (since they can't tribute for RaiDa or Monarchs) and it's good in the Dragunity match up since it not only nerfs their field spell, but stops them from doing their nuttiness.

Yeah, you're siding for their side as well as frequently for their main. One of the local stores I go to still has the Zombie structure so I'll grab one at some point if it's still there (or buy singles).

Omg super fail on my ass I used a 25 dollar ebay Gift Card and bought an ally genex birdman for 5 bucks and 2 genex ally triforce for 2 each. I picked up Axel a while ago =P since it was for something random, and i might go into it once or something, it's a good card. Also wrong thread but WTF is cerrberal going for so cheap? It's a hugely broken card.

Or be good like me and run neither Geartown or Gadgets, and have **** matchups vs all the top decks, except maybe sabers.
Triple DDWL is too beast. I've been thinking of putting in a RotA for them for a while, but 3:1 is too few for me, so for my fourth warrior, I've been thinking of maining 1 Greenkappa. Anyone have any thoughts?

While Gadgets are good for adding to your hand, the way the game is now is about useful hand advantage.
My build has sort of abandoned the Gadgets for now, until Exceed monsters show up.

This build is highly Anti-meta and has shown to even compete with the beatsticks of Hero Beat with its 6 monster count of 1900 ATK monsters along with 2 2100 monsters. It can deal with Necrovalley and Oppression in 8 main deck answers. With 3 mained Breakers it also deals with obscure threats like Burn and Stall.
I also found that a first turn Breaker does a lot of weird Mind Game stuff with what cards your opponent sets turn 2.

question: what is tkro and RoTa? and birdman dont usually end up as a dead draw. unless you have 0 cards on field and 0 cards in hand and you get him in your draw.
