Hey,

It is time for an official Code List to be started for the Canada/USA releases of Pokemon Black & White versions. CodeJunkies' website maybe yet to update but the Action Replay Code Manager subscription thread did update. I will be leaving some blanks so that this can be updated with more tested functioning codes.

In order for these codes to work, the firmware on your Action Replay must be up-to-date. The firmware release IS already available. The necessary Firmware was necessary for full use with Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver.

For those with an Action Replay DS (or Action Replay DS EZ), you will need to update your firmware to version: 1.71.

The purpose of these is for if one ever wants to restart their game and not make it seem cheated (especially if you have date specific event Pokemon on your game!)

* Trainer's Pokemon are Level 85, Level 90, Level 95, Level 100 (excellent for Training ~ the Level 100 is excellent for testing your Line-Up)
* All catch attempts are Critical Captures (it a less cheating version of the Perfect Capture.)
* Push L+R turn the square you are standing on into a Shaking area (for Grass, Cave, Bridge and Water areas.)

* Change move learned from TM 01 and it can be learned by any Pokemon.

The downloaded firmware version 1.25 for Dsi is a bin file. But when I click and drag it over the gray box as directed, it has a crossed out circle symbol and does nothing. Am I doing something wrong?
Do I need to open up the bin file somehow?

Having an issue w/ the catch trainers pokemon code. it'll catch it, but afterward it says I black out, and the pokemon I receive is whatever the 1st pokemon the npc trainer sent out, even though I threew the ball at the 2nd or 3rd pokemon they sent out. Every other code has worked very well tho. Thanks for the hard work! =)

I'm going to help out all the DS users here who can't get the file to update on their Action Replay DS. Its my unfortunate duty to tell you all that if you have an Action Replay DS version 1.54, 1.52, and lower. You will not be able to upgrade your DS to firmware 1.71. A bunch of DS users on Gamefaqs emailed the makers of the Action Replay who emailed them back a response confirming their version will not work with Pokemon Black/White and they would be forced to buy the new Action Replay DSI Max.

I unfortunately have Action Replay version 1.52 so I can't tell you how angry I am at this news. I have to shell out $30 to buy a new Action Replay just so I can get 999 rare candy/items to use for EV Training/Raising. So now that I just finished the game, I have to wait till Friday before I can really raise any teams and play online which is the major reason anyone plays these games.

My firmware is up to date for the Action Replay DSi is completely up to date, and I typed in the EXP x4 code correctly. Is there some sort of special thing I have to do to get it to work? I went and battled tons of different trainers and wild pokemon and each time I'd always get a normal amount or EXP. :confused:

So, I repeat, is there a combination of buttons I must press to get this code to work??

How to use?

1) press L+ R to have 559 of 1st item in bag

2) throw to match move you want to learn, TM83 will be new move

is there a way to use action replay to get a certain type of pokemon. for example i would like a metagross. is there any way to do that on white version? pearl version?

Well IDK if you want to do it (this being the AR thread and all) but you can CATCH legit wild Metagross. Also, GBATemp has an "official" AR xml with tons of codes.

sometimes it may be because you are not using the right version of AR, in your AR menu you should check if its matching with the one is supposed to, probably check on codejunky can help you with that,but usually this may not be the problem cause its not supposed to be written wrong ( Action Replay Firmware v1.71+(AR DS), or , v1.25+ (AR DSi) REQUIRED! ) but still you should just check the way you typed in the code by editing it , and im bored so i can give it back to you right away ..

Would it be possible for someone to create an AR code (Pokemon White) to increase IVs individually, rather than just maxing them? I'd be so so grateful!! It would make getting the right values for the needed Hidden Power!!

Alternatively, could someone post telling me how to alter the existing "Max IV" code so that it becomes 30 IVs instead of 31 IVs.
