Is buying a bunch of cards off of people at locals a good way to build up trade? I should be able to get really deals and stock up my binder with trade bait for around $100-$150. Any ideas on what cards to try and buy to get some decent trade going?

Buy whatever you can, but only at a good price.

But what would be some of the best stuff to buy? Would buying light sworn stuff cheap be a good idea?

Your best bet is to go to a store that sells cards but specializes in Magic the Gathering.
In my expierence, they put most yugioh cards in a box without pricing them at all making them $.10 - $2 in bulk.
You can end up spending $20 for $100 profit.

Don't have that option. I was thinking of just getting stuff cheap off of noobs at locals in edition to buying 4 boxes of storm.

One of my friends was going through commons at a local sports card shop and saw a Toon Table of Contents.

Thunder King Rai-Oh, if possible. Yeah, check if there's a box of commons. That's a great opportunity for pluses. And please don't "rip off" noobs. It makes me sad inside. And what would your mother think?

you could also ask around to people you know who used to be into yugioh and maybe they have their old cards ,willing to give them up.
