Out of these 4 cards, what works best for against X-Sabers?

D.D. Crow
Thunder King
Effect Veiler
Gottoms' Emergency Call

Scraps... I have yet to play against it, so all I heard is D.D. Crow when they try to bring back the Tuners? What else could I use?

Discuss.

Of those, Thunder King ThunderKing works best imo. Though I'd really try to fit E-Calls and Veilers too.

Well, as far as I can tell, Effect Veiler works well against almost anything. Thunder King is great against Sabers, and Crow is a good general counter.

GEC doesn't fit every deck actually, even if it's an ok side option.
Veiler makes sense against everything
DD Crow? Useless against Sabers, but it seems ok against scrap

TKing is an excellent choice, but i'd recommend you to have some special summonable monsters besides it, so it could avoid warning/etc. Plus, it's an opponent's Book of Moon leecher xd

Crow and Hero's Rule 2 wreck both decks completely :P
Effect vieler and TKR should be in your deck regardless
Scraps are best beat by just preventing them from synchro summoning, with bth or torrential or something. That's if crow isn't in hand at the time.
Sabers are similar, but prevent them from having 2x sabers on field for faultroll. That AND gottom's emergency call.

Hero's rule 2? To counter what, fulhelm effect and GEC? Oh, and also Faultroll, whose effect is usually done after a nice cup of Hyunlei. No offense but it sucks against sabers.
Let just force everyone to play 3 DD Fissure! :{

Gottom's E-call and faultroll make the deck kill =/ With those negated and destroyed, you're spared for a turn. Plus those 2 copies of Hero's Rule 2 sided in with the solemn you're already running give reason to run a copy of van'dalgyon! :D
Plus D fissure is just as vulnerable, and hurts you too. No thx...

on a sidenote there are some other cards that help;

1) (scraps) Pulling the Rug

Stops chimera, currently the major way they utilize to pull off dragon(s)
and isn't completely useless as it is decent VS gadget/machina and the random monarch one might encounter.

2)Banisher of the Radiance

Works well agains both as it either locks 'em (no scrapstorm shenanigans, niether Darksoul/Emmersblade setups) and at worst case they wont nuke you this round as they will proly kill him 1st (and X sabers cant really kill it except with Boggard)

3)D.D. Crow & Effect Veiller - no reason to explain,it's just THAT good.

4)Depending the rulling,Skull Meister might be a perfect counter to both those decks. If he cannot activate in the dmg step,he's mediocre and thus, crow is better.

5)Rivalry of Warlords

Slow, most times wont pay for its deck slot ,but it is a choice and should be mentioned.

TKRO and some of the aforementioned cards are the best counters and so I wont repeat what other people said.

Other than that,a bit of luck is the best counter realy,if they open with dragon/coldwave or faultroll+darksoul+coldwave+fullhelm most times you will be in trouble even with the aforementioned counters in hand/field.

I'd like to point out that rivalry won't do much against scraps =/ beast and chimera are both beast type, and they make dragon in one turn.
Skull miester won't do that much either to scraps, as they target the graveyard a lot more than they recycle. Even then they can play around it with Pot of Avarice, but the surprise factor is nice.

Crow, Rai oh, and Veiler WRECK scraps.

Veiler Dragon so they can't pop.
Veiler Chimera so they can't special.

Rai oh locks down their special summons and their scrapyards.

Crow is a d-bag play. =)

Those 4 cards work really good against both Archtypes. Rai-Oh probably being the best against both (IMO)
