Hey everyone,
I just bought Sapphire yesterday, and I chose Torchic.
Its currently on level 8, and i was wondering if you could recommend the Pokemon and their moves that i should have in my party.
:)

for yourr ingame team, use whatever pokemon you like and feel comforortable using. read the help thread at the top of the page so you can learn what to do after you beat the game. and checkl to see if it is female. if the torchick is male, restart and keep restarting until you get a male. just save in front of hte bag

After you get a female, just go through the game using that and a party of Zigzagoons. Use the Zigs as Pokevacums and HM Slaves. When you catch Kyogre, Teach it Thunder and fight Wallace(the last gym leader). Just beat the E4 with Kyogre and Blaziken. After you are done with that, like Wobmaster said, the Help Thread will give you some help after you beat the game.

Kyogre? Why waste your time using that freak of nature? Learn how to win using a real team. since you have sapphire you could go with Lotad. Ludicolo is a good pokemon with a decent moveset, nice stats, few weaknesses, and a crapload of resistances. It's also possibly the only Grass pokemon that can get Icebeam. Poochyena is kinda weak and doesn't get much stronger when it evolves, but intimidate is brutal against all physical attackers.

All you need is a Blaziken and 5 Shedninjas. You shall own all of your opponents
Note: I'm not serious about that, but you can try it if you think it's good
