There's no way to gain hearts. The amount of hearts for each team is set up before the war starts. Throughout the war, there is no way, or option, to increase hearts or gain lost hearts.

Game 1: This was an epic battle. I Vayu'd into BWAW twice and ripped a huge Sirocco against Caius with only Icarus set. He had the last laugh with DCK and Airbellum

Game 2: You saw the DCK and Caius and thought "No way this is a Saber deck," right? Well I epically failed in this respect by siding in E-Call's when I didn't need to! I somehow drew all my spells/traps and was helpless against TKRO. hmmm, maybe I should side some of those myself.
