Yet Masakazu Morita made it to AX for all 4 days. And how is Morita a nerd? He looked like a hippie when I saw him in there.

Bosch was there to host AX Idol but he wasn't having fun most of the time, or so I hear when a fan told me that he was shouting angrily at his phone.

Hippies are like 50 years old in american years, which is about 600 in japanese fad years. So if he dressed like a hippie, that's effectively the same as an american dressing like a knight and Larping. Which is nerdy.

Had no glasses on, didn't have that 'nerd' vibe and had casual clothing while he was at Los Angeles. People, particularly Bleach fans and FFX fans wanted to take pics with him and have his autograph. Would a Japanese nerd get THAT kind of attention??

First of all, a Japanese nerd definitely would get that kind of attention at an American anime con.
