Today I was browsing various forums and found out about Little Cup. I told my friend about it and he said we'd have a battle tomorrow night, and the ban list won't be in effect.

I honestly have no idea about the sets of pokemon in the Little Cup, so I'd like some help.

I selected some pokemon, most of which were just because I like them XD.

Meditite - since the ban list won't be in effect, and I've heard that it is extremely good. I guess it has hax moves and stats.

Growlithe (replaceable) - I wanted a fire type with decent attack. Can use bite on the abundant Ghost types, and Roar to scout the opposing team.

Mudkip - I simply love Mudkip. Gets STAB on Waterfall, which is also boosted by its ability and decent-ish (base 60) physical attack.

Eevee - I thought it could be used as a distraction of some sort. It has a decent attack and gets STAB on some pretty good normal TMs.

Bidoof - Again I love Bidoof XD. Gets Double-Edge via Breeding so it has access to a high damage STAB.

Sentret - I have a shiny one that I'd like to incorporate. TM moves cover almost, if not every type.

If people could help me start to set these up, it would be much appreciated.

Check out Smogon.com

They should have info about things like this. I personally have never done a Little Cup before, so Smogon should be a good starting point.

Mostly, for the little cup team, you should check out this page. http://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/little_cup_guide It has everything you need for this, and i would also recommend using shoddy battle for this too. With shoddy and this, you can see the number that their base stats end in, and then give them the appropriate evs according to the last digit in their base stat. I used this to start off with my little cup team(irl and on shoddy), and this guide teaches you how to use your sweepers, premade ev spreads for popular pokemon, and also how to effctively use mixed sweepers.
