Hey there, ok so I'm working on a video show for not only Yu-Gi-Oh! but a whole mess of other games as well, in particular Pokemon, and Magic. MGN stands for The Midwest Gaming Nation, its affiliated with a website www.midwestgamenation.com, but anyways, point being, I think a show that covered multiple games instead of one, could be useful, for the fact that it could draw a larger audience, and maybe even help people develop interest in more than just one game too.
So here's what I am looking for, help obviously :p, okay so I need:
A Magic the Gathering affiliate
A Pokemon TCG affiliate
A WOW TCG affiliate
A minis game affiliate
A high level judge for each of the games
People to do field reporting
Suggestions on how to help make this thing work.
I've already done some coverage for a PTQ in Nebraska, and it went well, but in case you ask here is what this show would entail:
Gaming Strategies based around the Hot decks in each game
Upcoming set speculation
Event coverage, for sure, with nationals season coming up I really would like to get that part going
Find the pros from each game, and get to know and talk with them more
More suggestions on stuff to add
One final though on this and then I'll leave it to your opinions. You'll probably want to know the show episode length and how the "schedule" would work. Well each show would be only about 10 minutes long, and I would collect the footage for a particular show, and then throw it together and wa-lah, and maybe at some point even go to the events and have live coverage.
So that's that,
