So a week before the SJC I start playing Yugioh again with me last major event being SJC Toronto. So I sleep at justins house I get a Machina Decklist from James Neumann and play locals and 4-0 scooped round 5 because i get downpaired to Justin so we both top. I lose round 1 0-2 of top 8 with really unlucky hands it happends right I get sleeves. So by thursday night I meet James(Jamez1), Justin(Centrios), and Michael at the train station in Montreal to go to New York long story short it was a 14 hour time from getting out of the bus station to the Sheraton. We check into out room leave our bags in the hotel and walk alllll the way to the convention center which is apparently (10-15 minute walk my ass).
I get to the Convention center on Friday pre register and try to make some trades but so many Americans are unreasonable its ridiculous like my cards are worth half and theirs are worth double. So all im missing for my deck and side is 3 Dprison, 1 Gorz, 2 Breaker and 1 Tuner Scheme (which is trash and didnt use it one ******* time). I start asking people for these cards and get chalenged by this guy who i forgot his name, he like some how knows all of my information like who im friends with and stuff wierd i 4-1 In games, his friend who I also forgot his name who topped congrats lent me 2 breaker 1 tuner scheme which was relly nice of him because i've never met him in my life.
After I buy gorz and dprisons from venders because this american asian guy I was trying to deal with depressed me because he was trying to sell/trade for higher than the venders. Whatever no trades later we leave go to the hotel with Billy, Ryan and Kyle play versus Kyle's good deck lose in hotel 2-3, played this guy for money 0-2 in the hotel.. I get depressed convince my self Im good go to sleep at 11 and make James make the side deck.
I wake up eat a lot of food go to the Venue meet Bobby refuse to wait in the line with him for 1 hour and a half I walk in the doors when the convention center opens right away and they ask me if I would like to register so if Bobby wouldve came with me he wouldove saved 1 hour and 30 minutes of his life.
I resleeve my deck and play test versus no one.
Round 1: Justin Aiello vs American
2-0
Bobby loses I get sad.
Round 2: Justin Aiello vs Anthony Mosca (Flamvell Cat)

This guy is my really good friend from Montreal and it sucks so much that I have to play him he was even nice enough to lend me 2 Chimeratech. As we talk to each other Dominican whos sitting across from me asks me if im Centrios, Im like no then he asks me if im Jabs0lute and im like yeah man he told me that i look so much like Bobby he asked if we were brothers or cousins, i've been asked this question for like 5 years of Yugioh no I am not related to him lol. He's a chill guy his opponent is a little kid who like is so bad and so dumb he accuses Domincan of like cheating twice.

No one really knowshow to play versus Machina Gadgets.

I game loss him because he sits in wrong seat
Then I beat him

Game 1: This man has me he has cold waver prisma test tiger but screws up doesnt make herk Im at 900 and he tops secuter attacks lol I draw fortress bring him out he trys to chariot it obv doesnt work.
Game 2: He trys convincing me that mystical space typhoon on starlight road activated on a a tt wont let me bring out stardust i tell him no. The judge comes over tells him he did it wrong and was supposed to activate typhoon on tt i win.

Round 6: Justin Aiello Vs Paul Mccan (Machina Mirror)
Game 1: I won
Game 2: He won with better mirror match cards
Game 3: I get him to 600 i got for game but he limiters when i have facedown starlight road so im like **** hes at 300... he draws chimeras my fortress away(2000 atk) Time is called.. At this point i have Starlight facdwon with nothing the judge is watching otu match. I draw STORM! I get all excited play it and he scoops up his cards. The judge is like blah blah blah you scooped up to fast you lose so i feel bad but i convice him i have pllenty of outs for game. Sorry i really honest to god didnt know starlight road couldnt be activated.
Round 7: Justin Aiello vs Victor Nolan
Game 1: He opens up with god
Game 2: I start off with gearframe dust search he sets 2 and monster I dust. I summon fortess fortress plus gadget attack attack attack. he draws sets 2 or whatever I union my **** Mirror force does nothing anyways i dont see what he has.
Game 3: I open 3 gadgets drew bad like drew storm but i knew he had starlight i had to try to do it anyways but yeah obv starlight road.
Whatever I dont shake this man or womens hand and walk away. I convince my self I cant lose to any man of women.
Round 8: Justin vs American (QuickDraw with Lightsworns and shells)
Game 1: I rip him apart.
Game 2: ''Lucky i had decree for you" He ***** me with that card and i drew typhoon and got excited but he hand destructioned it to the grave. He tells me after this match Jerome will feature him if he wins day 2.
Game 3: I bluffed this guy so bad he tears after the match, i pretend im really bad and he has 2 drill syncron in his remove from play with Jd in grave and i have face down starlight and bottemless i show him my bottomless faceodwn during my turn and ask him if i can do it on both hes like blah blah blah no because they get reurtned to the field i like breath hard and say well atleast i can bottomless jd, I set another card and try to bring it back but im like wow i cant believe i set that. Hes dumb enough to bring Jd out laugh so hard, activate starlight road. Next turn i gearframe otk him past his bluff facedown.
So Me7-1(Machina), James is 6-2(Exact same deck), Justin is 7-1(MachinaTrick deck), Bobby(****)
We go back to the hotel eat dominos pizza again at like 1:30 :( In the morning. Me, Mark and James walk to the hotel in the rain because we are to cheap to pay for the cab. We get to the Sheraton check into Bobby’s room and go to the lobby to play people. I play Dominican and lose 2-1 I get depressed. We go to Bobbys room and all sleep on his double bed and watch James sing about his day 2 and how trash Bobby is for x-3.
James and I wake up go to the jaccuzi and come back up for like 7:45. We knock on Bobbys door because we forgot our room key Bobby doesn’t answer.. We knock even harder and harder and harder until 3 different people poke their heads out of the hallway and tell us to shut the **** up. We start panicking because were not going to be able to play. So we call his room 40 times... He still doesn’t answer so we go downstairs convince the manager of the hotel our friend is asleep and hes a rock. So we beat him up and after go to the venue.
Round 9: Justin Aiello vs American (Lightsworns)
Game 1: I lose to it
Game 2: I win
Game 3: I win pretty easily
Round 10: Justin Aiello vs American ( Mirror match)
Game 1: He otks me with ultimate offering limiter
Game 2: I draw pretty bad and he has soliditary and otks me with that
I’m sad
Round 11: Justin Aiello vs Jake McNeely?(Cat)
Game 1: Ripped him
Game 2: Goes into time he has more life
Game 3: I have grand mole gadget to hit him for damage he drew horrible i felt bad for him
Round 12: Justin Aiello vs American(Blackwings)
Probably the nicest guy i’ve ever played he was so nice. Right before the match started I realized my luggage is missing so he gives me time to go look for it without a game loss I find it at the judge tables im happy.
Game 1: I flash Herk in Extra deck, I beat him because thats what Gadgets do vs there best matchup
Game 2: I beat him again.
I feel bad because I like crushed his dreams in topping the shonen :( i feel really bad for this guy because he’s a really nice guy. He tells me that he heard about a machine gadget deck siding gbs and when he saw herk he thought it was me. Its funny because Justin(centrios) was playing that deck and both are names are justin and we both come from montreal have Italian last names.

Top 32: Justin Aiello vs Jarel Winston ( Monarch lightsworns)
Game 1: He thinks hes good by trying to read fortress claiming that if he mirror forces it he discards i tell him obviously you dont discard so he sets 2 back row and a monster. I call his ****ty bluff summon another fortress in grave summon mole attack for game.
Game 2: I draw bad he wins game takes very long though.
Game 3: I have a lot of advantage on him but i cant do damage on him because hes trap holing my gadgets? And dprisoning them, I chain dissapearence his frog and verify his hand i see 1 soul exchange 2 thestalos i get scared because time is called and lifes at 8000 8000 and he can thestalos me for game. Whatever he hits a spell in hand with sojuld exchange + thestalos i kill thestalos and kill the other one. He then a turn later summons ciaus and removes himself for 1000 damage and wins when i had like 5 outs to that play. He like gets up runs arounddd. Greatt i lost... i should’ve won if it wasn’t in time.
Whatever though im happy though i play Fili luna for a test tiger and 5 dollars beat him and go back to the hotel play some more games lose there.
