Modified and Unlimited?

I just got back into playing Pokemon after leaving the game after Neo 2 came out in American. I've bought the occasional pack of teh new sets but not enough to really know what was going on. Now that I've really returned to the game I found out that there are two different formats; Modified and Unlimited. What are these formats and their restrictioins? Thanks for the help in advance!

Unlimited allows any card except Ancient Mew and ______'s Pikachu aka Happy Birthday Pikachu (WotC Black Star promo # 24).

Modifed currently allows cards from Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge, R&S, Sandstorm, Dragon, and Nintendo released Black Star promos. And any set released after Dragon. Cards that are reprinted in the sets (like Switch) can be played from any set (just be aware of wording changes).

Thanks a lot! Are there any bannings or restrictions in unlimited or modified? Also, is there a link anyone cam provide for good modified decks? Thanks in advance!

Restricted cards for Unlimited are listed above. Currently no card from any legal set is banned from Modified.
