Nintendo SGs are the best for POkemon games.

I heard Shineyaltaria(copyright shineyaltaria 2004) say that it wasn't that great? Or isn't it the same thing....

EDIT:I have another queston,but it's kinda off-topic..anyway,here we go:
If you're real-life opponent uses Action Replay, will anything happen to your game?I just want to know,as my friend may use an action replay when we battle.

The Official NINTENDO R/S guide I have is, imo, really well organized and complete.

Unfotunately, I got the Prima guide for FR/LG and it just does not compare. It would be ok for a newbie to the game, but that's it. For example, it lists the HMs/TMs but not the other moves. It references floors by number without numbering the actual diagrams so you're like ok well which floor is #2 or whatever. It basically ends at victory road, making no mention of islands 4 and up. This also sucks. I wanted slude bomb for my vileplume and it said it was in the Rocket Headquarters. I looked through the whole guide and couldn't find any Rocket headquarters (It's on one of the later islands). There are also mistakes and misprints.

I haven't seen the Official NINTENDO guide but I'll bet it is a lot better organized and more complete.

The Prima one I bought says "official game guide" on the cover and when I saw that I thought it was the 'real' (nintendo) guide. My bad, and I paid for it, literally and figuratively, which I regret doing.

Got regrets?

At this point I'm not going to get the Nintendo guide since serebii has so much good info and is only a click away.

Got broadband?

Edit: no idea about the AR questoin.

I hate Prima strategy guides.

It depends though, if you need a walkthrough for the whole game then get the strategy guide, but if you just want pokemon locations and such, just use the internet. That's just my oppinion though.

The official nintendo one has nice info about everything, but lacks any sort of info on the trainers you will battle Except the rival battles and Gymleaders.

I agree that the FRLG Prima strategy guide is almost worthless. For the first time I prefer Nintendo's-lots of background and specific info. But previous Pokemon Prima were good. Maybe having Elizabeth Hollinger as the author made them worthwhile. Her name is not on current Prima.

Hmm. Versus Books does really good guides. They even managed to include most of the hidden items. and usually have complete info on the trainers to include movesets for the Elite four and Gym leaders.

EDIT: But I haven't seen them do one for FR/LG yet.
