How do I find Rayquaza?

I can't seem to find the cave with Rayquaza in it. The walkthrough I read said to surf east from pacifidlog until I found an opening in the rocks to the north and the cave will be through there but it doesn't appear to be there. Maybe you can't find the cave until after you have beaten the elite 4? Can someone help me find the cave? Thank you.

Yeah, you need to beat the Elite Four before you can go to the Sky Pillar

Yep, after beating the E4 you can go to the sky pillar. You'll need the mach bike too. It takes some practice riding over the holes in the floor, so don't get discouraged.

Got Patience?

After you get to the top you'll see Rayquaza. Unless you are very very lucky, you'll need lots of ultra balls and more patience. There are different ways posters have used to catch this pokemon. IMO, don't waste the master ball on it, you'll need that for Lati@s.

Remember that it is weak against ice.

Whatever you do, save before battling.

You'll see Banettes, Dusclopses, Claydols, Golbats and Altarias on the way up, levels 48-57.

Well this is how you get a Rayquaza,
First you battle the elite four
Second go to Pacificlog
Third Use surf and follow the rocks
Fourth When you see a opening you go in there
Fifth Now you are in Sky Pillar that is where Rayquaza lives
Sixth You will need a mach bike to get though to the top of the pillar.
